GoogleFrom the very start of my home buying journey, the team at Greens have been amazing. They have held my hand through what could otherwise have been an extremely stressful experience and they have made things seamless and transparent. Communication has been excellent and I have felt the whole way through that they have made the vendors and I feel that we’re working towards a shared goal. I would highly recommend greens to anyone buying or selling their home. Could not name a single fault.

From initial visit & valuation to completion of both sale and purchase every step of the process was managed perfectly taking all the stress. GoogleI don't even think Green's estate agents at Castle Bromwich even deserve 1 star, but I cannot give zero. We where buying a property through this branch for 7 months, up until the end of January 2023, that was when our mortgage offer, which we had extended, ran out. The property we wished to buy still had not gone through by then, so we could not continue. No one at the branch showed any concern, the only time we even heard from the branch manager was an email after 7 months, stating a failed sale. They just did the bare minimum, then when we complained to the director, Mr Watkeys I received a very blunt reply, and he blamed everyone else, the sellers solicitor, the leasehold management company , but ofcourse, not the estate agents who where selling the flat. We lost our great mortgage rate, 2.5%, and still had to pay all our fees, all for nothing. So my advice is, don't use this estate agent to buy or sell, as if they had been truthful with the actual property management fees, which where double than what we where told we would not have even considered buying the property. And the fact that cannot be disputed by Greens, is that we only found out the real leasehold fees after 7 months of being in the buying process... on our final day of the mortgage offer running out, and our solicitor had no time to complete the necessary checks as there was no time left. In my opinion, this flat shouldn't have been put on the market until all the necessary paperwork was in place, and how on earth did it take 7 months for this to happen is a disgrace, and a waste of months of our time, and money. And to end the sale/fiasco, the flat went straight back on the market, and it was SSTC within 24 hours.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We did all that we could to enable your partner to purchase the property in question. From the outset we conducted our due diligence with the sellers of the property and used the information that was provided to us by the executers of the estate. You were aware that the sellers’ solicitors were unable to obtain the lease information quickly due to delays by the management company that manages the lease. When this information was eventually received it did highlight that the service charges were going to be increased for a two-year period to cover some extraordinary expenses but would then revert back after this period of time. We are very sorry that your partner decided to withdraw from the purchase of the flat and we understand why he reached this decision due to his mortgage offer expiring before contracts could be completed by the conveyancers.

Our ongoing purchasing was not straight forward and the house we purchased was not through this firm but Nyree went above and beyond offering advice and support throughout the whole process. We obtained our mortgage using Lauren Clark who works here and she was fabulous too. I would highly recommend Green & Company Castle Bromwich. Thank you so much to Nyree, Lauren, and the team, I would not have got through it all without you all.

GoogleWhat a pleasure it was having this company sell my house! I arranged a valuation and Gemma called at 12MD, gave a thorough market appraisal and valuation for my property. She said she may have someone on the books who would be interested and called the office. A viewing was arranged for 2pm and an offer had been received by 4pm, with an increased offer the following morning. You couldn’t make it up! Perfect estate agency work. Then followed the usual stressful conveyancing bit as solicitors do their thing! Donna kept me updated throughout in her usual caring, efficient way, always on the ball and letting me know of all movements as they happened (I’m sure she was born to do this job). Whenever I phoned or called in with queries all the staff were terrific and dealt with my concerns quickly and efficiently. In a nutshell, Gemma sold my house within a couple of hours of her first visit, and Donna and the team dealt with the conveyancing process perfectly through to completion. Priceless!!!

GoogleWe had the pleasure of Jacquie Harvey looking after us when we bought our first home. My partner and I couldn’t have wished for anyone better to see the process through even though Jacquie wasn’t actually acting for us. Jacquie was extremely friendly and informative and helped us with all the queries we had when purchasing our house. We were having particular difficulties with our own solicitors which was smoothed over through Jacquie’s input to get the deal over the line. She was very reliable and we would recommend her to anyone who is buying their house with Greens. If we need an estate agent in the future, we will definitely by using Green Mere Green. We even got a lovely welcome pack from Green when we went to collect our keys. Thanks for all your help Jacquie!

Very poor experience with Green and Company Walmley Letting. Firstly, they failed to register my details after completing the registration process on 12/08/23 . So I had to send them the detail again. It took ages for them to return my calls on 14/08/23 when trying to get a viewing. I had to get several other Green and Co offices to ring the Walmley Letting dept to get them to reply to their own customers! It was completely ridiculous. After finally getting a viewing on the property and looking to proceed, Green and Co Walmley letting totally missed both timelines they told me I would get an answer by (Rachel gave me those timelines). They could not get hold of their own landlord for several days. Then they came back with some laughable response that contradicted their own advert! The way they wasted my time was disgraceful and the way they dealt with me as a potential customer was very poor. I already let them know time was of the essence. I do NOT recommend them. I will never deal with Green and Co Walmley letting again or give them any future business. Looking at all the low rating reviews on here, I now see I am not the only one disappointed, after receiving such a poor service.

GoogleWe have recently sold our house with Green & Co and if you're thinking of selling, then I'd absolutely recommend using this company. We felt thoroughly well looked after from first contact all the way through viewings, offer, survey, exchange and completion. I have to say that it's the first time the estate agent I've used paid so much attention through the whole process, as well as adding real value in simplifying communications during exchange and completion stages. We're exceptionally happy with the team at Green & Co: Tara, Jonathan and Jacquie especially, and feel fortunate we found and used such a reliable and professional company. We couldn't have received better service!

Clint asked me for personal details - proof of funds for a property and my availability..then just didn’t get back to me! When I chased him 4 days later apparently he was at the stage of getting offers for the house and only had 2 viewing slots left during working hours - none of which were suitable. Clint confirmed viewings had taken place all week already (whilst I was available to view) - really disappointing service. The agents clearly aren’t bothered about ensuring everyone gets a fair chance to purchase a property. It seems they aren’t actually working in the best interest of the sellers (who will be funding their commission payments).
