GoogleVery keen and efficient service. House details were posted online quickly. All viewings were accompanied. We didn’t always receive feedback on viewings unless we asked for it. We lost the first sale and felt we weren’t made fully aware of the intended purchasers financial position early enough. However, the final sale went through very quickly. Overall very pleased. After 3 aborted sales with Purple Bricks which consumed 14 stressful months due to lack of support, wrong price, no vetting of purchasers, etc., etc. I decided to use Gascoigne Halman in Macclesfield to sell our house. Within 1 week Matthew Clark and his team had vetted a new purchaser who was right for our property, truly had the funds, and was highly likely to follow through to completion (which they did).I can't recommend Gascoigne Halman enough for their proactive advice and follow-up, aiding the purchaser and keeping me informed. I found them friendly and easy to communicate with. No waiting for someone to answer the phone for inquiries and prompt replies on email. When the exchange of contacts and completion time came, they helped pressure crucial solicitor communication so that we met the target dates keeping me (the seller) and the purchaser happy. I can't recommend Gascoigne Halman in Macclesfield enough. Thanks, folks, you deserve the credit, and will be using you again for another property sale.

GoogleAfter speaking with other agents, I choose Gascoine Halman without hesitation. The reason was Lewis, the manager. He spent time outlining options, detailing the services and engendered a spirit of confidence in him and his company without an overt sales pitch. The house was photographed, the write-up presented for review and when ready, we went to market a few days before my holiday. The house sold for in excess of the asking price and was a done deal before I came back home. The entire staff of his branch were positive, supportive and great to have onside. I cannot praise them enough and highly recommend this company.

Kate barker especially has been absolutely wonderful throughout the selling process, keeping us up to date regularly and making us feel at ease. She was highly professional in every aspect of the sale and also very easy to talk with. Nothing was too much and Kate was always happy to help and support us whenever we needed it. Have just Let an apartment from Gascoigne Halman Didsbury! Large deposit and £1600 per month! Apartment in a filthy condition,no windows can open as no key has been provided to open locks! No heating ,Hot Water as either owner,Gascoigne Halman representative,previous tenants turned off switches that marked Do Not Switch Off! Despite contacting them a week ago I am still in the same situation? They insist that I take holidays off work rather than send someone after hours or weekend? Sending emails to the Didsbury Rental Dept and the Manager of the Didsbury Office ,a week later in exactly the same situation?The only service they did promptly was to take my money and it appears they don’t want to do anything! I have invited the Manager to come and visit to see that the Inventory was either done many years ago or is a work of fiction? 1 week later and situation is exactly the same! I certainly could not recommend this company going forward!Mt only hope is someone senior within this company see this review and gets it sorted before the apartment makes me ill due to no ventilation,damp conditions!

They make everything so easy. Even during COVID, Lisa found tenants for me with no bother at all, so that there was hardly a break between tenants. Gascoigne Halman should be your number 1 choice if you are a landlord or tenant looking to rent a property in the area. They look after you so well.
