GoogleI rang a few different estate agents when looking to rent a property, and Gascoigne Halman were by far the friendliest and most helpful from the start. I spoke to Jordan who ensured their customer service was incredible right from the first call.
When it came to renting a house, we dealt with Chloe, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. I’ve rented a few properties in my life, and Chloe made this by far the easiest and smoothest process I’ve ever experienced, hands down. She was friendly, professional and always quick to help - I honestly can’t thank her enough!
Would 100% recommend Gascoigne Halman in Glossop to anyone looking to rent or buy.

GoogleWhat can I say, Chloe was an absolute gem. Whilst our home sold within the first week, the completion process was an absolute nightmare. If it wasn’t for Chloe, I suspect our sale still wouldn’t have completed and either the buyer or us would have walked away (we almost did several times) Chloe was managing both solicitors (neither of which I would recommend) and the buyer. She was certainly trying to herd cats. Thanks also to John and Karen.
Couldn’t recommend Gascoigne Halman more highly. We went with them originally because of how well they did with our neighbours property 2 years earlier, and they did not disappoint.

As per all the other negative reviews - terrible communication - poorly written emails, unprofessional in manner and just awful to deal with. From moving into property, water pressure issues and constant cold showers. After months of back and forth was told (by a manager) 'oh well you are on a rolling contract, so you can just find another property' as appose to just having the issue fixed? Turns out it was a pump needed for the boiler, and of course the landlord did not want to pay as it was 'expensive'. It wasn't. Paying over a grand a month for no hot showers and terrible management is expensive. Clearly they prioritise landlords and not tenants. We left as suggested and do not recommend for renting at all - save your self the stress and sour puss faces.

GoogleIf you are wondering which estate agent to put your house on the market with in Cheadle I highly recommend Gascoigne and Halman- don't look anywhere else. We were impressed by their professionalism, friendliness and approach from the very first visit. Rob is an excellent branch manager and is genuine and honest- it didn't feel like we were just another sale. We also found the team to be so efficient and friendly- especially Nicky who worked so hard for everyone involved and was a central force, who moved things along and liaised with everyone throughout. She is very easy to 'work' with during what can be a stressful time (selling a house feels like work!) We felt supported throughout the process and someone was always on the other end of the phone or email - everyone was so communicative. We are so glad we went with G+H and recommend them to everyone!
