GoogleI was shown around a property by Ellesse Mosunu-Kitenge in Stoke Newington, which went perfectly well. But Ellesse subsequently made a number of phone calls in the hours after in which I felt pressured to commit money there and then, and increase the offer I made on the property. Once I made it clear I wouldn't, Ellesse's communication with me vanished, making me think she was less interested in finding me a home and more interested in securing more money for her clients.

GoogleWhen I moved into the flat, there were fruit pits under the sofa, mouldy washing machine, and broken dishwasher. I emailed the property management team and Charlotte, but they refused to pay for a proper clean.
During my tenancy, there was no heating in winter, so we had to buy our own electric heater because the property management did nothing. They just sent engineers to the flat to check and did nothing for heating. The dishwasher stayed broken and was never repaired.
After I moved out, they delayed my deposit for two months with no response to my emails. I only got the deposit back after dispute it with TDS (and FJL even missed the ddl given by TDS). My cheque was sent to the address I rent from FJL, and again, the property management team simply ignored my emails.
Overall, extremely poor service and unresponsive management. They pretend to be “professional” and “nice” before you pay the holding deposit and rent. PLEASE AVOID RENTING FROM THIS AGENCY.

We went with FJL because they had valued our property higher than other estate agents but in the end we had to drop the price and it sold for the price other agents had valued it at. This may well have been to do with the market at the time but also think it's just generally worth noting when thinking about what price to put it on at.
Overall a good experience and would recommend their services if you are going to chose estate agents to handle your sale.
