Very pleased in our experience with Mark, he allowed us to view the property at our own leisure without the sales pitch and gave us some help around the valuation. After recently ending a tenancy of almost 15 years, we wanted to take the opportunity to thank Ellis & Co and, in particular, Belinda, Khalid and Niki for their professionalism, support and guidance throughout the years. Fifteen years is a long time to rent a property, and during that time we treated the house as if it were our own home. We took great pride in looking after it, maintaining it carefully and, in our view, returned it in a significantly better condition than when we first moved in. Like any long-term tenancy, there were naturally maintenance matters and property issues that arose over the years, some of which we felt could have benefitted from more proactive attention and investment. What stood out throughout was the support provided by Ellis. The team consistently acted professionally, responded promptly and always tried to find practical and fair solutions. A special thank you to Belinda, who worked incredibly hard to guide all parties through what at times became a challenging and sensitive end-of-tenancy process. Her patience, professionalism and willingness to mediate fairly were greatly appreciated. Khalid and Niki were also always approachable, knowledgeable and helpful whenever advice or assistance was needed. One of the things we valued most was the distinction between the service provided by the agency and the differing expectations that can sometimes arise between landlords and long-term tenants. Ellis always approached matters with professionalism and fairness, helping to navigate situations that were not always straightforward.
