Anyone contemplating using Ellis & Co Finchley for rental and lettings should have no hesitation - they are highly recommended. There was no second thought from us in asking Ellis & Co in Finchley to act as the estate agents when renting my property. Over the last three years, I have found the team (headed by Mr Khalid Ghani) of Khalid, Nicki and Belinda to be thoroughly professional, accessible and - most importantly - offering a wealth of experience together with sensible, practical advice. Khalid himself goes that extra mile - often rolling up his own sleeves immediately to sort out many of those unwanted 'domestic' problems that might otherwise lead to delays and inconvenience for both tenant and landlord - very much the unsung hero on many occasions!

After having contacted several agents to market the sale of my flat- Ellis & Co were the most responsive and professional agent and provided me with a quick and detailed valuation. The flat was barely on the market when I received an asking price offer! Have to echo other people's comments on here and say that I have found Ashley to be incredibly rude and aggressive. After my daughter and her roommates were having issues in getting work carried out and constantly being talked down to or not responded to I tried to step in. I phoned Ashley and tried to go through some of the issues (as one of the guarantors) , he talked over me, became aggressive and was incredibly obnoxious. The place is being rented by students and as such is no palace but that doesn't give him the right to talk to clients the way he does. When I tried to reason with him he refused to speak to me. We shall definitely be taking this further not least because there are outstanding issues, but in the meantime I would suggest avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

We rented a great flat in Bethnal Green from them for a year- they were prompt in organizing our contract and followed up on all our requests. The flat was in great condition when we moved in and they inspected in regularly on behalf on the landlord- always giving us good notice of when they were coming. I'd highly recommend them
