I must mention that whenever I approached them with any property related issues they have been reasonable and swift in fixing the problem.

As a first time buyer there were obvious uncertainties on my side, but Chris was patient and had a good understanding of the process which was very helpful. Khalid was also good to deal with and to the point (given his experience).
Overall experience with Ellis was positive. As a feedback point, I would have appreciated more active and clearer communication but this can be easily improved.

GoogleHad been at property for quite a few years, it had been managed by different estate agents and never had an issue. Things changed slightly when Ellis & co took over. Have never met Payal personally, my experience has only been via emails and texts which always have a slightly passive aggressive tone to them. Have met Ravi in a few circumstances who seemed helpful and professional, so in terms of customer service not many complaints simply that work at property is still to be done 12 months after issues been raised and it's a constant chasing up for it all to be fixed and issues with mould still to be resolved. But I am aware that they are not the worst but I have definitely had better companies managing this property so I believe they have the potential to provide better service too.

GoogleIgnoring important emails for months, being rude on the phone... It's almost impossible to put how appalled I am at Ellis & Co (and Kier Hawkins in particular) into words. I have had some brilliant experiences of renting in London, and this one stands out as a really terrible experience in comparison. One email which I sent -to confirm if my deposit was protected or not- was ignored for four months. They split duties of care with the landlord in a manner which is neither explained nor explicable, and don't deem it worthy of their time to let you know if the things you've emailed about are actually the landlord's responsibility. I would avoid Ellis and & co at all costs.

In both experiences, as landlord and vendor, I had to face difficulties, but all agents were extremely helpful to sort out problems at different stages.
