Selling House

Andrea came to valuate our property on Saturday 08.07.17, giving my husband & I an idea of if we would be in a position to sell. Andrea said she had a buyer in mind & would contact them to see if they would like to view the property. On Monday 10.07.17, we agreed a 72 hour contract, allowing the buyer to view the property & a viewing was booked for Wednesday 12.07.17 at 10.45am. James accompanied the buyer at 10.40am & by 12.15pm on the same day, James was calling us with an offer. By the end of business on Wednesday 12.07.17, we had accepted an offer. My husband & I cannot express how much we appreciated Andrea's time on the Saturday & how honest she was with us. She made things clear & concise. We are extremely pleased that Andrea's gut instinct was right & the buyer she had in mind placed an offer as expected & we have accepted it. On the day of the viewing, James was very polite to myself & the buyer. He escorted the buyer around the property, answering any questions the buyer had. At the end of the viewing James fed back to me the buyers thoughts & said he would be in touch. When James called an hour & 30 minutes later, he was extremely pleased to advise of the buyers offer. We negotiated throughout the day & by close of business (on the same day) we had come to an agreed price & term. From start to finish, Andrea & James were nothing but polite & helpful. My husband & I would recommend this team to friends, family & colleagues. Thank you very much Andrea, James & Dawsons.

Purchasing through Dawson's

We are currently buying through dawsons and I must say they have excellent after sales care. We decided to sell through purple bricks but although the concept was good there is no personal service or after sales care that teamed with their awful solicitors that we were bound to use have left us nine months since offer agreed with no move. We wished we had used dawsons for that excellent service

Absolutely brilliant service. Quick and easy from start to finish

Before Dawsons my partner and I had viewed another house with another agency and had nothing but a series of problems. We waited days on end with no contact and ended up being made fools of. We decided to look at one more house before giving in and staying where we were. This next house was with Dawsons. We met a lady called Rebekah at the property. She was on time and was presented lovely. She showed us through the house and was very helpful, answering all our questions in detail and even providing information about the house that we did not ask.. Long story short, she knew her stuff!. My partner and I loved the house and the professionalism of Rebekah, so we decided we wanted to go with Dawsons with this property. Rebekah was fantastic! She coached us through the Lettings in great detail, and was on the ball with contact. Whatever was happening with our contract and the house... We knew about within seconds. I personally can say I have never had such good service from an estate agency. She is a credit to Dawsons and the Morriston branch!. I can not thank her enough for her efficiency and really hope that her manager takes care of her and let's her know what a great agent she is!

Good, professional service

We found the staff at the Dawson's Morriston branch to be very professional, helpful and polite. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we feel they worked hard on our behalf to sell our house. The valuation was very fair and we were impressed by our property advert on the website. The staff in the office were always very obliging and on the rare occasion we were unable to get through by phone, it was due to a high number of calls. If we left a message, Dawsons staff would always respond promptly. We received a good professional service from all the staff in the Morriston branch whom dealt with selling our property & answered our queries, in particular we are very grateful to Associate Tracy Sturgess, Office Manager Andrea Devoy who always passed on our messages, Caroline Mountfield and all the other negotiator/sales assistant staff who were all very friendly and helpful. (Natasha, Rochelle). The only negative comment we feel we can add is that we would like potential buyers to be vetted a bit more carefully before offers are submitted, as our first buyer unfortunately dropped out, causing delays to ourselves and to the vendors of the property we are buying. We were both very impressed by the Dawson's website and feel that the addition of floor plans would help prospective buyers. We note that Dawson's staff across the region are actively involved in a lot of fundraising activities which is really good to see & it would be nice to see other Estate Agents following this example. Overall we were impressed by the service offered by the Dawson's Morriston team and we would definitely recommend them to friends, family and colleagues (as I have done so already.)

Excellent service from a professional team

This is not the first time I have sold or purchased my property through Dawsons in Morriston. There is a reason why I always return. Its the excellent service provided by Tracy and Andrea and the very professional team. at the office. ,They all know their stuff and accurately value a property. They are aware of the local markets and are always there at the end of the phone when needed. Things don't always go perfectly right when buying or selling a property. But they all work hard to get things back on track and keep the process as smooth as possible.. People may think that online agents are offering cheaper deals, but having someone that is willing to get involved, chase solicitors and valuers. That sort out many of the niggles that always seem to happen is invaluable, and worth every penny. Review of service for selling our property and helping to purchase a property

Within this review I am referencing those agents that my wife and I had most contact with (David, Corey, Sharon) however, I suspect, given our experience of these agents, that the team as a whole need praise. From the minute we had our property to sell evaluated, to the handing over of our keys and collecting the keys to our new home, Dawsons were extremely helpful, friendly, attentive and approachable. They agreed to a negotiated fee of selling our property in line with another Agency, they sought quickly to answer any queries we had and they updated us promptly with regards the processes of sale and purchasing. Selling and moving home and all that goes between can be very stressful so for us, the reliance on an agency like Dawsons to handle this was important - on that basis I would thoroughly recommend Dawsons to anyone looking for the support of an agency to sell (or buy) a property.

Sale of Marina Apartment

We sold our apartment via Dawsons. Initially Lisa marketed the property and following the receipt of an offer on the property a few months later, the sale was managed by Viv Jones. Whilst the sale took longer than expected,with delays from various Authroities and management Companies, I found both Lisa & Viv very patient and helpful. Laura Carver is brilliant and very friendly which is working in Dawson and very helpful

I have been working with Dawson over a year and nice to work with them but only they had some staff recently and I don't think they good as old staff. Also new recent staff needs to be more friendly and helpful to customer . Other than that overall really nice staff which is I know Laura and Lisa. also Emma but Emma not there any more and really shame she was really good to and was really helpful.

Outstanding, Caring, professional services beyond expectation

We have had quite a few dealings with estate agents over a thirty year period as we have had to buy and sell property seven times. Dawson's Marina take first prize for all the qualities you hope for in estate agents but rarely receive, i.e. Excellent service, competence, personal caring. We dealt primarily with Lisa Davies who became a mainstay for us in finding a property, viewing properties, and being generally helpful and kind. She even picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the property we eventually negotiated to buy when our car broke down. Viv, the manager of Dawson's, was also greatly helpful in talking to us on the phone, submitting our offer, and coordinating with our solicitor. They both proved to be quite exceptional in ther compassion when I became quite ill and had delays and difficulties in completing. So we are more than pleased and grateful and would recommend this branch of Dawson's to anyone.
