GoogleTracey has been superb in the initial rental and ongoing support. The facility is perfect for what we need, great access options and only paying for what we need. Highly recommended.
Thanks so much for the review Nick. We are over the moon you had such a great experience with us.

GoogleTracey at Edinburgh big yellow @bankhead road, was super helpful and very friendly. The computer was a bit slow but the staff can’t be held accountable for that. Told us about the app which will be very helpful . All very painless and efficient.
That's very kind of you to take the time to review us. Thanks, Audrey.

GoogleStorage is good, the typical metallic storage. It is safe and clean. Access is ok. But the service is really bad. I wasn't told that the lift wasn't working when I arrived (key information), and charged me without asking for a locker (when I had my own). Also had issues with the direct debit and they asked me to go to the office to fix it. I am always using this service, I'd recommend to avoid this Big Yellow in Wapping and go to other branch. Especially if you're travelling abroad as their online client service is really bad.

GoogleLisa at Big Yellow Storage Colchester was absolutely first class. From the moment I walked in, she was welcoming, professional, and completely on top of her game. Customer service like that is rare these days, friendly without being over the top, polite without being corporate and genuinely helpful at every step. She explained everything clearly, made the whole process smooth, and handled questions with good knowledge. You can tell she takes pride in doing things properly. It made what could’ve been a stressful job feel straightforward and sorted. Big Yellow is lucky to have her. Top-tier service.
Thanks for such a thoughtful review. Hearing from happy customers makes our day.

GoogleWas friendly and welcoming from the start, everything was explained clearly and was emailed all that was said to ensure I could go over anything that I might not have heard. The building is hygienic and efficient and security was top effort. I highly recommend big yellow. They helped keep my peace of mind while I was waiting to move home especially on a budget.

GoogleUsed the storage units in Colchester several time, always very polite and professional and we would use them again. But one thing I will say is read the paperwork as we lost our deposit the first time due to not giving enough notice….
Hey Lisa, we appreciate the positive feedback. We'll share that with the team. See you soon.

GoogleI had a very last-minute change of travel plans and needed to store my belongings urgently at Big Yellow Self Storage in Cambridge. The team there was incredibly helpful and kind, making what could have been a stressful situation feel easy and smooth. I stored my items on June 7, 2025, just before closing time, and the supervisor on duty was especially supportive, even though I unfortunately didn’t catch their name. I truly appreciated the team’s professionalism and willingness to help at the end of the day. Highly recommended.

GoogleSarah provided an absolutely outstanding level of service from start to finish. She was professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. What stood out most was her attention to detail nothing was overlooked, and she anticipated needs before they even had to be mentioned. Her communication was clear and timely, and she handled every question or request with patience and confidence. It’s rare to find someone who combines efficiency with such a warm and personable approach. Because of Sarah, the entire experience felt seamless and enjoyable. She truly goes above and beyond
