Purchase of our new home in Worcestershire

Ours was a difficult and complicated purchase from start to finish as our home of 30 years was purchased by HS2 and the circumstances of the the vendors of our new home were particularly sad. Megan Jenkins - Service Unparalleled! Thank you!

The house went up, 72hrs later it was SSTC, this was in main, due to the skilful negotiations of Megan and exceptional communication. We managed two viewings and three offers in that space of time. That was enough in itself as we were delighted to secure our home at the right price. However, Megan went that extra mile by putting us in contact with approved local specialists, including: a surveyor, builder and gas and electrical engineers. This led on to meeting our architect who's drawn up the perfect plans to extend our home. In addition to this, we were guided through the outcome of the survey and were able to reach a satisfactory re-negotiation between ourselves and the vendor with seamless disruption to the sale. Overall, I couldn't be more impressed and there's no doubt that we'll be heading back to Megan when we've completed the renovation of the house and when (or if) we ever decide to move. Attention to detail poor

Very quick and helpful, although in our opinion attention to detail not a strong point of the person dealing with us. Getting our names wrong and posting our purchase details to the wrong address. Which our neighbour opened, the letter contained all our details including solicitor, purchase price, property details etc. When complaining I just got 'sorry for the admin error' which I don't think is good enough! As this is a data protection issue.

Never again!

We recently purchased a property through Andrew Grant and I have to say it was one of the worst experiences of our lives!! I know the Agent works on behalf of the seller, but surely the buyer should have some consideration too?! The staff there were totally unhelpful and made us feel they were doing us a favour by selling to us. They turned, what should have been a happy and exciting experience into a stressful and unhappy one! We will never purchase or sell a house through these Agents ever again!!

Matthew brought a smile to my face during a very stressful time

Matthew from Andrew Grant Malvern was great the whole way through the process. He was the only person who bothered to ring up on our 'completion day' to make sure we were okay as he hadn't heard anything and therefore hadn't been able to give us the keys.. Poor service.

Andrew Grant Estate Agents were very poor in the service that they provided in the purchase of our new property. They did not seem to know what was going on as it was with the Receiver. In the end, we just had to abandon Andrew Grants and go straight to the Savills, the Receiver. As we purchase property often through business, we deal with many of estate agents in and around Malvern and Ledbury who know us as easy going buyers so it was particularly disappointing to get such service.
