GoogleWe found the perfect little house to rent, luckily it was through Reeds Rains. To make things complicated I was in Australia, however, Reeds Rains, particularly Nicola and Lorna, made the whole process so easy and as less complicated as possible from the very get go. They were incredibly prompt, professional and friendly, they kept us up to date throughout and it took no time at all. It's a sigh of relief to not only find a suitable home that we were both drawn to but to then have the peace of mind of not being 'stuffed around' and the reassurance we would be dealing with a great company and helpful agents.

GoogleI switched property management companies and moved to Reeds Rains. Nicola Wright and Lorna Fieldson are absolutely marvellous! Both are extremely professional, efficient and very approachable. As expected with any rental property, little tweaks here and there were needed at the property and Nicola and Lorna dealt with these issues very promptly and appropriately. Why didn’t I make the switch earlier?! Highly recommend their service! Thanks ladies!

Really wanted to sell my house with Wendy at Reeds Rains Rawtenstall because she WERE lovely & helpful with a valuation on part exchange on my property early last year. But the last time I phone her just to let her know that we were still selling the house in the early months 2018 (few jobs needed doing)All she had to do is phone me back on my landline after she had finished with another call. The only place I get a mobile signal is stood up next to the window, as being disabled it were painful standing, She never phoned back so I did later on, she made me feel like I were wasting her time.What is it with Rossendale estate agents ? My dealings with a couple of them have been unbelievable.... Nasty & condescending, wouldn't speak to potential clients and their wage payers like they do?

Sold my house with Reeds Rains in Chesterfield and used their mortgage advisor Simon too, I would highly recommend both, absolutely lovely staff and extremely helpful! Contacted me regularly on any updates and really helped make the buying and selling process less stressful. Simon was able to get me fantastic rates on my mortgage, life insurance and home insurance. Sue and Jake were particularly wonderful, always there to help and answer my questions. Lovely team would highly recommend!! :)

GoogleI used these estate agents when selling my house from the valuation to the sale they were brilliant. Sold my house within a week for us and i had constant contact and updates from them during the process A big thank you to claire shes is fantastic at her job a total credit to the durham office and thank you to all the other staff that helped along the way If youre wanting to buy or sell a home this is the estate agents to use first class i can highly recomend them thank you reeds rains for a proffesional friendly service .

Claire assisted us in our property search for our new home, she really took the time to understand what is was we were looking for, kept in regular contact and sent over the right kind of properties as and when they came available during our search. When it came to finding our new home, Claire went above and beyond from start to finish of the process, we really cannot thank her enough. Professional, efficient, yet friendly, trustworthy and personal customer service that is really hard to find in this sector.

GoogleStaff are great from the start, very informative, they keep you up to date along the way evening making contact if there isn't really anything to report but at least it lets you know they haven't forgot about your property unlike some other estate agents. They give you their honest opinion regarding the sale of your house. The staff are extremely welcoming when you visit their office and nothing is to much hassle for them and they will help you out in anyway they can. Special shout out to Gem who is fantastic and goes out of her way to make things as smoothly as possible. We also used Christine for our mortgage and again this women never stops working always keeping on top of where your sale/purchase is at. Going out of her way to contact anybody involved if needs be. Getting us the best deal for our mortgage and much better than the numerous banks/building society's we went to direct. Although I have only mentioned Gem and Christine by name the whole staff within the Durham Office are great and are quite happy just to have a chat with you about things in general and do not make you feel like they want you out of the office. I would highly recommend using Reeds Rains and their mortgage arranging facility.

Arranged a viewing but when we arrived no estate agent turned up. Phoned the estate agent who said they had spoke with my husband (which never happened) and also said that we had booked in for the day before which also wasn’t correct because it was a day that we could not make and I wrote the appointment in my diary while on the telephone. Will not make any arrangements through this estate agents again. How do they expect to sell hours when they can’t even get the viewings right

Our recent experience of the Heald Green branch was professional and courteous, right up until you sign and then when actions are not delivered and you need to highlight it, the service unraveled. From that point on it was downhill. We experienced ad hoc updates (with the exceptions of the automated ones) a selection of deviations to the truth, an overestimation of the price we could achieve, 'non authentic' (invented??) prospects and in the end I couldn't trust the branch manager unless it was in writing. Something I have never had to resort to. Ultimately we had no choice but to go to head office to explain (in writing) and wait for their investigation outcome.*Special note to the one proactive person who did anything for us was Leah. It was Leah that got viewers to the property, followed up with all parties and was truely motivated to sell our lovely home. The complaints team who after (15 working days plus the xmas and new year period) finally came back to me and permitted us out of our fixed term contract, from that moment (within an hour) the property was withdrawn - proving they can act fast if they want to!Now found a local independent agent, who knows the market and the meaning of service. Use at your peril!

Would never go near these guys again. Disaster when property check was competed at start and end of tenancy (pretty much non exsistent) and trying to get the deposit back (after 3 months) was a nightmare. Sandi the end of lease consultant sent 3 emails asking for bank account details and received 3 responses giving the details of two account numbers and advising that we have seperated so need seperate payments. The super helpful Sandi Williams then emailed 9 days after processing the payment (10 weeks after vacating the property) to say the money had been released. After 3 emails she refused to disclose the account / accounts the funds had been transferred to and only over the phone could she confirm that the funds were not transferred to my account ... the same one in the 3 emails she had been sent. Not sure what it is with the arrogant level of customer service provided by estate agents in this country but it is amazingly pathetic.

Moving from Birmingham to Preston I found this lovely two bedroom flat which I decided to go for through read rains. I was very sceptical about the extortionate fee of £240 that they were charging but I was told that they went the extra mile and this is why the fee was more than what other state agents charged. In addition to this there would also be a fee of £120 a year. I was told that a tenency check would be performed which included a credit check and Work reference. When asked would I get my money back if the checks failed for what ever reason, I was told yes if the landlord decided to pull out but failing the credit check all that would be required is a guarantor. I told them that I work to the medical Locum and they were quite happy with this. A few days later I get a phone call from reed rains telling me that my credit check had failed due to an anomaly on my credit file which wasn’t even in my name. I was also told my work reference had failed due to working as a medical Locum despite me having already told them of this. I was given the option of putting down the guarantor which I agreed to. Two days later I get an email from them telling me the landlord had decided to put the property on the market and that it wasn’t available to me any more. They refused to give me my £240 back even though I was given the option of putting down a guarantor in the event credit check failed. I will now pursue legal proceedings against these pirates through the Small Claims Court. I highly recommend anyone looking to move to Preston not to use read rains. They are thieves and the service is absolutely appalling. They mislead you and tell lies so stay well away.

For over 2 months I'm trying to book a viewing and still no success. I'm very disappointed with their Prescot branch and for sure I will never sell or buy using them as it is a waste of time.
