Shockingly bad builds,if ever a house was to be built by the wombles these are it,as a skilled craftsman I was actually speechless at the poor quality

Had an appointment to view show houses as we are considering buying in the area and was astounded when we turned up that none of the sales persons were present for this meeting. Despite having contact numbers, no one had the courtesy to answer or return calls. Pretty disgraceful behaviour without considering i took valuable time from work to be there in time, cost aside. If this is how we are treated pre-sales, i dred to think what it would be post sale! Unprofessional.

Happened to be in the area and was exploring all options with regards new build sites.. dont visit without an appointment they refuse to see you or even give you anything paperwork wise or anything vaguely helpful with regards to what's available apart from look at their website. They didn't even ask what our situation was. Considering we are sold and chain free they just lost a potential sale..not returning..

I live in one of these properties. The soundproofing etc. is pretty good, but the build quality is poor. It was obviously rushed. The public areas are poorly decorated and no real landscaping has been carried out, which causes flooding across some pathways. Not only that, but if the sprinklers are on around their show home, they spray water across the footpath at roughly head height (yes, I've been sprayed in the face before), because the landscapers, yet again, did no landscaping so the sprinklers are at a 30-45 degree angle from the ground. The company has built on a nature reserve and the stream that runs through the site is filled with dirt from the groundworks (I suppose nothing can be done about that), but it is also filled with rubbish - some of this is crisp packets and other rubbish which I presume once formed a builder's lunch. More concerning, though, is that the natural areas which have been preserved are strewn with building waste - the large plastic sheets used to wrap pallets of materials and fencing, for example. Considering that the natural ecosystem in the area has already been irrevocably disturbed, it surprises me to see that the companies make no effort to take care of what remains of the natural landscape. The company who manage the properties, Peabody, are equally useless and refuse to acknowledge any issue or fault.

Love our house, after sales are poor, chased up issue near on 15 times each time it’s recorded then ignored and closed. They are very quick to close issues with no consultation.

Build quality very poor , customer services do not help once you have moved in , they take your land and try to build on it without permission , ....if I had the option I would not of purchased this house from taylor wimpey, Most of the reviews are from people which do not live here. All the gardens are handed over below standard and have to be ripped out and re done all the bins on through estate do not get emptied .. The only good thing is the neighborhood spirit.....

Bought a house from Taylor Wimpey and it has been a terrible experience. They are not interested as soon as you buy the house. Had one issue after the other including huge plumbing problems. We were told not to use the toilets and they couldn’t give us any idea when someone would come out. Would avoid this builder

Didn't really seem that interested in selling the future homes being built. Message was to look at website!
