GoogleBeen there twice, first visit was almost a year ago when a lady who took us through the process was not even trying to sell rather acting very judgemental when we asked about offers. Why do you even have offers then?
I was just put off by her way of answering my questions. We had lots of questions as FTB and this lady was clearly not interested in doing her job. Decided to go look around old built. As their show homes were open a year later, my husband and i went there on Saturday because we wanted to discuss about upcoming plots.
One of the ladies was the one from our prev visit and i wanted to avoid her at all cost. The other one was not less. She clearly doesn’t have any idea in terms of dealing with customers. Her approach was not friendly. She was very quick to judge that we are probably friends of a family who was in show homes just because of our skin color is same as theirs.
Agents make huge difference to the whole home buying process, was again put off by these ladies even before considering the purchase. Whilst we loved the 3 bedroom house, we just did not want to engage with them for the process so we left even though we had booked appointment. If we do consider going ahead with Taylor Wimpey, i would never want to engage with these two bitter arrogant souls. Not being approachable to customers is the worst attitude one can have as an estate agent.

GoogleWe purchased our dream home from Taylor Wimpey South East just over 2 years ago, investing our hard-earned money into what was meant to be our forever home. Unfortunately, the experience has been far from what we were promised or expected.
We paid £4,800 for upgrades like a Silestone worktop, which has proven to be shockingly fragile, it chips like glass. The sink was badly fitted, and given the premium price we paid for the house, we were appalled to encounter a major leak from the water tank within the second year. Despite having proof of regular servicing, we had to shell out £600 to fix it.
More recently, we discovered a substantial leak from the downstairs toilet, originating from a pipe concealed within the wall. This leak caused severe damage, and reports from two reputable companies confirmed the issue stemmed from poor workmanship, a pipe fitted too tightly behind the tiles during construction. Taylor Wimpey, however, refuses to take responsibility, citing that the house is out of warranty. NHBC has also declined to assist. Despite our evidence proving the issue was present since the house was built, Taylor Wimpey hasn’t even sent someone to inspect the problem.
The leak has forced us to break the floor-to-ceiling Porcelanosa tiles we paid extra for, adding further costs and frustration. The financial burden, stress, and disruption have been immense, all due to no fault of our own. We were assured that these were “Executive Homes” and were strongly encouraged to invest in costly upgrades, yet the quality of workmanship has been abysmal.
From plumbing and tiling to the boiler and water tank, it’s been one issue after another. Even the upgraded appliances and Amtico flooring were poorly installed. After spending thousands of pounds on upgrades and repairs, we are now being asked to prove, yet again, that the damage was not caused by us, just for the chance of reimbursement.
Taylor Wimpey markets these homes as high-quality builds, but our experience tells a very different story. The lack of accountability and refusal to stand behind their work has left us deeply disappointed and stressed. We trusted Taylor Wimpey with our dream home, but unfortunately, they have failed to deliver on their promises.
I wouldn’t genuinely recommend Taylor Wimpey to anyone looking for a reliable, quality-built home. The frustration, stress, and financial strain they’ve caused have been overwhelming.

GoogleThe staff were really warm and attentive. I had spoken with Ann when I made enquiries and then met with Gill, both brilliant. The show homes l visited were beautiful and the developer is giving away amazing incentives. I decided not to go ahead though because of the many power lines situated across the development.

Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
