GoogleI trusted Taylor Wimpey when the the sales office told me there would be no affordable housing on this development. Now, after moving in, I’ve learned they are negotiating a bulk sale of 59 units for social rent, something they never disclosed and now refuse to explain. Sales material was updated after purchase.
Every attempt to get straight answers has been met with scripted replies, contradictions, or “we can’t comment.” Residents have been left feeling misled, ignored, and treated as an inconvenience rather than valued customers.
This isn’t how a major developer should treat the people who invest their life savings into their homes.

GoogleI’d give 0 stars if I could. Living next door to the new builds, was told by Taylor wimpey that they would replace a tree that worked as a screen for our bedroom after they took it out. This morning was told that they have changed their mind about replacing our screen. Now we have a lovely view of our new neighbours bedroom and kitchen so both of us have absolutely zero privacy. Several other residents of brook Avenue have also not had their screens replaced with the promised “oriental screening” but again Taylor wimpey didn’t want to fix their mistake of taking away several houses screens. 3 years we’ve had to put up with excessive noise all the day and especially before 8am when they’re not allowed to start and continues through to 6pm because they’re behind schedule. We’ve had to suffer and have had no offer of any compensation at all. Talk about selfish

GoogleSame as a previous comment. Taylor Wimpy did not disclose that they are selling 3 big houses - flats for affordable social housing. They were secret and not transparent about that. Disappointing.

GoogleBe diligent with this company. Have purchased an apartment of one their development. Gas boiler installed was not supported, can’t get gas safe engineer to service. Subsequently, replaced boiler despite complaints. They don’t care. Don’t trust them. Better construction company is Belway. Will never trust Taylor Wimpey.
