Serious structural issues and poor customer care, our third and final Taylor Wimpey home. We’ve owned three Taylor Wimpey homes, and after this experience, it will 100% be our last. We’ve been dealing with a major structural fault in our garage for over 7 months, with no clear resolution or accountability. The garage is visibly wonky from the groundwork up, it’s clearly noticeable from the road, and we’ve been told it’s more than 10x over the acceptable tolerance, yet somehow it was still signed off by NHBC. That in itself raises huge concerns around build quality and inspection processes. Now, Taylor Wimpey has confirmed they will rebuild the entire garage, yet bizarrely, we’ve also been told the issue "doesn’t even warrant a rebuild." That contradiction says everything about the lack of responsibility we've experienced. This situation has completely derailed our plans to convert the garage and carry out garden works, and it’s caused months of disruption to our family life. Communication has been poor throughout, we’ve been fobbed off, left in the dark, and passed from one person to the next with no clear answers and no ownership of the problem. On top of the structural issue, we've had hundreds of snags in the property. Some individuals, like Johnathan in the sales office and Kelly, have been genuinely helpful, and we appreciate their support. But overall, the customer care has been slow, dismissive, and completely inadequate for a national housebuilder. We still can’t get a clear answer on key details like rebuild quality, access, dust control, or disruption. We’re left feeling ignored, and completely let down. We can’t seem to get anywhere, and at this point we will be taking further action. Taylor Wimpey should be doing far more to take accountability and support their customers when things go this badly wrong.

Great experience during the buying process with Taylor Wimpey but after sales has been quite frustrating to deal with. You have to fight to get anything done, it feels like once you complete on your property the builder moves on and gives up on their responsibility…considering how much we have to pay for properties these days builders need to do more to improve the after sales experience.

A very wonderful development. From start to finish the experience has been great. Jonathan the sales executive has been super helpful, really supportive and reliable. The most perfect first home. The site team have built a top quality house I cannot fault. Would fully recommend this development to anyone who is looking to move to Warwick. Thanks to all involved.

Had a viewing, the houses felt cheap, poor quality materials. Very close together. Crazy prices. I'm guessing most are being sold to investors. Nice! Taylor Wimpy homes don't exactly have a great reputation, I've since learned (see Trust pilot) Decided I really didn't want to live here...

Recently purchased a house on this development and I would highly recommend it. Communication from Taylor Wimpey throughout the process was excellent, and the experience of moving in and aftercare has been second to none. I cannot fault the …

Dull, bland, overpriced and poorly constructed houses, which are designed to last just beyond the warranty period. Houses are packed as close together as physically possible, to maximise profits, with no thoughts for privacy of the occupants.
