Taylor Wimpey Chester reviews

Currently living in a mess of a site. Been living at Taylor Wimpey kings moat site for 2 years. The team you are buying from is awful. My shower is leaking into the downstairs since November but Taylor Wimpey have been 6 times and still not fixed it. The bin storage has been fly tipped in every week because Taylor Wimpey don't know how to make a door which will stay closed. Fly tipping isnt their fault but the preventative measures have not been put in to stop it. Every tree they planted died within a few months. Yet to get a sign to say which house number I live in. Customer service will promise a call back but then never do. The customer service team will try their best to help you with your issues but I don't think they are getting the support needed to effectively help. If I was thinking about buying a new build from Taylor Wimpey I wouldn't. Just ask anyone on the site and they will tell you an issue with the site. A lot of people have had their property flooded. Search "kings moat flooding" and you will see the issues.

I moved into my Taylor Wimpey home just under two years ago and I have to say, the service has been exceptional. I adore my home, the quality is outstanding and if I have any small snags, TW have dealt with them extremely quickly. I can’t recommend them enough. Great builders and customer service

Came into the property to check out one of the homes for a potential investment. The lady who met us Abby( not Abby Potts who is one of the others) was absolutely appalling. She was an absolute snob and wouldn't give us the time of day. We ended up seeing some of the sites- the planning is absolutely ridiculous. Look elsewhere!

Difficult to give a definitive rating as house building has only recently commenced. It is a large development on an arterial road leading into Chester city centre. (The houses appear to be constructed using the " timber frame " method.) … More
