Michelle is amazing, she is the one that convinced us from day one to buy a house in Ember Mews. She is absolutely lovely, every time we needed something or had a question, she was very kind and helpful, transforming the entire buying process in a wonderful experience. Ember Mews is the ideal site for nice families, one of the most pleasant and quiet areas in Pontefract :) ☆☆☆☆☆

***AVOID*** ***UPDATED*** ***Two years on and we still have horrendous issues with Taylor Wimpey and our house. The ongoing issues with our ensuite has now resulted into water leaking into our walls causing tiles to fall off and black mould to grow IN our walls. (This has happened to our nextdoor neighbours with water pouring down their stairs through the ensuite shower in the middle of the night). They blankly refuse to waterproof our shower area saying they will only fix it to the standards they built it as, which clearly isn't fit for purpose. Our ensuite bathroom window has randomly exploded due to incorrect installation and they have blamed myself and my partner for smashing it. HORRENDOUS company ran by cowboys*** We regret buying this house. Your house will not be finished to the standards of the beautiful showrooms. I could go on about the amount of issues we've had with our house and how we were forgotten about. ALL of our sinks/showers/bathtub/some pipes are not water tight. Still to this day our ensuite shower leaks out from the frame on both the side and the base. They've been out to "fix", "refit" and as I was cleaning it today the water is STILL leaking out the sides on to the floor. I was told and quote when I contacted them about it "when I have had issues like this raised previously Roman Showers advised myself that the cubicles and screens are not designed to have water continually sprayed direct onto the same spot as this does not simulate the normal spray that would hit the screen". I have never been in a shower where I've had to avoid getting direct water on the screen. The second you hand your money over and sign that contract you are forgotten about. They will object handle you and try not to fix the issues THEY HAVE CAUSED from their awful work! Do not buy a house here!

Not a great area but the actual houses look good and stand out from the surrounding area. have found out though that they have sold a mass of houses to the army. Was on our list of potential places to live but not now. the search continues

Nice location for homes, and what lovely show homes they have. I especially liked the kitchen in the Drummond, really good use of not that much space. Lovely colour scheme too and everything just looked perfect- I wanted to move in!

I've just taken ownership of my dream Taylor Wimpey house at Hamilton Copse - I couldn't be more delighted with the location, design, and quality of the house. Moving house is always fraught with difficulties, but Emma, the Sales Executive, Daren the Site Manager, and Amy at Head Office were all kind, understanding, helpful, and professional, and worked hard to bring a complicated process to a very satisfactory conclusion. I couldn't recommend them highly enough - a definite 5 full stars!
