Avoid. They donβt call you back, have absolutely no interest and are disingenuous. Take your cash and sit on it for weeks on end whilst they act negligently.

Service charges are +25% in a year, with no explanation, just demands for payment. Feels like the usual story to expect from these developments. Taylor Wimpey are still the freeholder.

The location is very convenient for children to go to school, and the supermarket is also within walking distance.

Dwellings are coming along nicely. Development will be active for some years yet and good infrastructure going in so buy for the longer term. Good mixture of housing types and tenure range.

Wouldnβt bother, the houses are ok. But the roads are a mess, the drains bang when cars drive over them (to be told it will be fixed late next year) and the landscaping promised in all the adverts is utter bull. Have a walk around Chester grange before looking at Chester meadows, youβll see what I meanβ¦

We've just moved in our new house and we are really happy with everything. All went like planned and the house is what we wished. I would totally recommend Kate ,who has done this possible for us in the safest and quickest way.She looked after us with patience and empathy and she is a professional.

everything was amazing till recently! Had mould appearing around the house literally as soon as we moved in, was ensured that it was normal whilst the house was settling and to keep the house ventilated with windows open (we moved in June so during the summer months this was absolutely fine) We have since noticed mould growing on the ceiling of main bedroom, ceiling in the wardrobe, and on the walls around windows in the main bedroom and spare bedroom. It is now in the height of winter, very low temperatures so have had to now close windowsβ¦I have contacted Taylor Wimpey customer services (within our 2 year warranty) to be told they wouldnβt be arranging anyone to come out to treat or even look at the mould that is growing in a number of places because I have closed my windows due to the turn of the weather. Quite frankly very disappointed and disgusted in the response I have received after everything went so well when buying the house. clearly when there is obvious problems with the building from mould growing from the beginning in the summer and still growing now, they canβt be bothered to help address or treat the problem. I am not usually one to leave a review but to say i am frustrated is an understatement!

Cool people. Great houses. And they pay for all my Google films with the surveys I get for visiting and ordering online and picking up in store.

We purchased our dream home from Taylor Wimpey South East just over 2 years ago, investing our hard-earned money into what was meant to be our forever home. Unfortunately, the experience has been far from what we were promised or expected. We paid Β£4,800 for upgrades like a Silestone worktop, which has proven to be shockingly fragile, it chips like glass. The sink was badly fitted, and given the premium price we paid for the house, we were appalled to encounter a major leak from the water tank within the second year. Despite having proof of regular servicing, we had to shell out Β£600 to fix it. More recently, we discovered a substantial leak from the downstairs toilet, originating from a pipe concealed within the wall. This leak caused severe damage, and reports from two reputable companies confirmed the issue stemmed from poor workmanship, a pipe fitted too tightly behind the tiles during construction. Taylor Wimpey, however, refuses to take responsibility, citing that the house is out of warranty. NHBC has also declined to assist. Despite our evidence proving the issue was present since the house was built, Taylor Wimpey hasnβt even sent someone to inspect the problem. The leak has forced us to break the floor-to-ceiling Porcelanosa tiles we paid extra for, adding further costs and frustration. The financial burden, stress, and disruption have been immense, all due to no fault of our own. We were assured that these were βExecutive Homesβ and were strongly encouraged to invest in costly upgrades, yet the quality of workmanship has been abysmal. From plumbing and tiling to the boiler and water tank, itβs been one issue after another. Even the upgraded appliances and Amtico flooring were poorly installed. After spending thousands of pounds on upgrades and repairs, we are now being asked to prove, yet again, that the damage was not caused by us, just for the chance of reimbursement. Taylor Wimpey markets these homes as high-quality builds, but our experience tells a very different story. The lack of accountability and refusal to stand behind their work has left us deeply disappointed and stressed. We trusted Taylor Wimpey with our dream home, but unfortunately, they have failed to deliver on their promises. I wouldnβt genuinely recommend Taylor Wimpey to anyone looking for a reliable, quality-built home. The frustration, stress, and financial strain theyβve caused have been overwhelming.
