GoogleWould highly recommend Stags in Taunton. The staff were very helpful. Lots of viewings and an offer within a week from the people who bought my house. Stags really helped keep things on track when there were some fairly major issues on the survey.

GoogleHAVING A DREADFUL EXPERIENCE WITH STAGGS. MY HUSBAND DID NOT CANCEL DIRECT DEBIT WHEN WE MOVED OUT OF THE PROPERTY, STAGGS HAVE TAKEN IT. WHEN WE HAVE ASKED FOR IT TO BE RETURNED THEY SAY IT HAS BEEN PAID TO THE LAND LORD AND WE WILL HAVE TO TRY AND GET IT OFF HIM - HE LIVES IN TOKYO? LEGAL MMM? WHEN WE RENTED THE HOUSE IN STONEGALLOWS WE WERE ASSURED THE HOUSE WOULD BE CLEANED. WE FOUND IT IN A VERY MISERABLE STATE AND AFTER 3 DAYS OF CLEANING STAGGS SAID THEY WOULD GET IT CLEANED. THEY THEN WENT ON TO TELL US ABOUT HOW ANNOYED THE LANDLORD WAS WITH THE COST OF THE CLEANING. NOW WE ARE AT THE END OF THE TENANCY WE CAN NOT GET OUR DEPOSIT BACK AS THE LANDLORD WISHES TO REFER IT TO THE DEPOSIT SCHEME TO TRY AND RECOUP SOME OF HIS MONEY (THE AMOUNT HE IS ASKING FOR JUST HAPPENS TO BE THE SAME AMOUNT AS WHAT HE APPARENTLY SPENT ON CLEANING) - FORTUNATELY WE HAVE PHOTOS OF WHEN WE MOVED IN AND WHEN WE LEFT IT. THE 5 BDROOM HOUSE HAS TERRIBLE DAMP ISSUES DUE TO ITS FLAT ART DECO ROOF WHICH WERE IGNORED AND NOW WE ARE BEING TOLD THAT WE NEEDED TO GET RID OF ALL EVIDENCE OF DAMP OFF THE WALLS. STAGGS ARE NOW SITTING ON OUR MONTHS RENT OF £1650 AND NOT HELPING US GET OUR DEPOST BACK WHICH WILL NOW TAKE UP TO 3 MONTHS. IF YOU HAVE A SPARE £4000 HANGING AROUND AND DONT EXPECT SUPPORT AS TENANTS THEN USE STAGGS BY ALL MEANS.
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you are upset about your experience at the end of your tenancy. However we disagree with your account on several points. The vacation letters were posted to you from Stags on the December 6 2018 and clearly state that the standing order mandate should be cancelled with your bank. Stags does not have control over your bank account and only you are able to action this. We have also emailed you updating on the situation, saying that Stags has done all it can to recall the rent paid out from your bank and this has now been achieved. The money has now been returned to your account. It is correct that there has been a dispute with your landlord regarding the condition of the property when you left it. As with all tenancies, Stags asks that the condition/cleanliness of a property when you leave it reflects the inventory at the commencement of the tenancy, with the exception of fair wear and tear. The Tenancy Deposit Scheme is now conducting an independent adjudication into this matter, using information from both tenant and landlord, with photographic evidence, and will award the deposit accordingly. If we can be of any further help, our lettings staff will be more than happy to discuss this further with you.

Googlethey were very good at getting viewings and once I had a buyer they were brilliant at keeping me in touch. All estate agents fees are expensive but at least they did some work for the money, unlike some estate agents. Claire particularly was brilliant. Thank you

GoogleThis office has a history of advertising properties to let without checking that they have a valid EPC. I have evidence of 5 properties including the one I live in. Under current legislation, it is a Criminal Offence to advertise a property or commence a tenancy without a valid EPC commissioned or in place. I would avoid at all costs if thinking of renting.
