The worst agency I have ever had the pleasure of renting with. It looks like my property manager left in late 2022 and I've still not be informed of this or who my new one is so I went round the houses every time I needed to speak to them. Zero communication skills - no reply to calls and emails. You'll get someone visiting to view a reported issue and won't hear about it ever again so it won't be fixed and no reasons why either - I had a waterfall leak that occurred twice and flooded my living room. Absolutely useless, glad to be out of an otherwise lovely property.

Had an easy and stress-free with Moginie James - Roath thanks to the help of the team and lettings consultant Mercedes Kouzoukis! I'm moving to Cardiff for a new position and unfortunately due to living in Nottingham and in the final months of finishing off a current research project I was unable to attend in person viewings at short notice which had made finding a flat something of a nightmare, but the team and Mercedes were very accommodating and happy to set up a video viewing. In addition any questions I had were clearly answered over the course of the viewing and I was given more info than expected! I'd dealt with several letting agencies in previous viewings and was disappointed with the lack of communication in addition to some video viewings being sent late and not chats as discussed but instead simply videos sent that told me nothing the website didn't, but Moginie sent through text confirmations of my appointments, welcoming emails and were perfectly on-time and informative. So yeah, would recommend.

I genuinely can not describe in words how inept and useless these people are. We were left without a suitable bed for 3 months amonsgt dozens of other isses. We spent hundreds of our own money to replace and fix issues as they were unable to even perform the simplest request. When we finally left, they had the audacity to charge us for some ridiculous fees when they could't even organise a clean of the correct property. Genuinely the worst organised and incompetent people I have ever come across. I don't think anyone could attempt to be this level of ineffectual, yet Mogini James did so.

Had a great experience with the team at Moginie James Roath whilst my partner and I purchased our first home. Communication was great and we never waited long for anyone to come back to us. Any questions we had for the previous owner were sought out quickly and, likewise, there was regular contact from the agency when looking for updates for the owner. All staff members we dealt with were friendly, helpful, easygoing, and welcoming. We also viewed our property a number of times before completing and were allowed to take plenty of time, given space, had any questions answered quickly, and given the chance for other people to join us (builder, family members etc.) on the last few visits! Very grateful to all involved 😊

I posted a brief review 2 years ago when I went to view a property and they were very helpful, so I've updated the review. 2 years later, Ive found a property, bought it, and moved in. Throughout the process, Moginie James staff have been very helpful. They advised me what was needed and when. When I had any queries or just wanted confirmation of something, they answered quickly and were friendly and helpful. Also, I found it good that they have the services/contacts you need such as mortgage advisors, but don't force you to use them (I did and recommend it!).
