We recently sold our house with Martyn Gerrard Estate agents. Firstly the level of service and attention to detail was far exceeded that if any other agent I have ever had dealings with. Further more the personal approach of Joe and Ross is brilliant. I approached 4 estate agents in the local area for appraisals. Three of them were brash, pushy or barely interested. Only Ross of Martyn Gerrard listened to me and gave candid and honest advice. Selling a house is a huge transaction and I needed an agent who would look out for my interests. I am so pleased that I selected Ross to see me through the process from start to finish. We picked Martyn Gerrard to sell our flat in Crouch End from several local agents. Mark gave us a clear and honest valuation and we liked the personalized approach to marketing the property where we could input on the selling points. We were able to negotiate a specific fee based on achieving the top end of the valuation. I appreciated Mark's flexibility on this and his confidence that his team could get us a top price. The team got us an asking price offer within 2-wks and when this buyer pulled out were able to replace it with another asking price offer within 24-hrs. We dealt with James as our lead agent once the buyers were confirmed. He was great. Recommended an excellent solicitor, was pro-active on the process, and hustled it through in good time giving us updates all the way. Overall we were very pleased we choose to go with this estate agent and delighted with the service and sale price they achieved for us. I would highly recommend them.

My sale was going nowhere - bogged down in the chain from hell. The office I had registered with had given up on me and my little house. I was passed from agent to agent and office to office. Weeks turned into months.. Until I landed with Kyri Ayed. Suddenly it all changed, Kyri believes in helping the client. He believes in communicating with the client. We chose to go with Martyn Gerrard as they are the market leaders in our area and we had previously had good experiences with them as buyers. I was very pleased with our experience of them as sellers. They explained clearly what the process was and kept us informed throughout about visits and were sensitive about minimising disruptions. I would have liked to get a little more feedback from each visit automatically, but when asked they were always forthcoming and helpful. We appreciated the opportunity to meet after ~4 weeks for an overall review of the process. My only criticism is that I think they may have slightly over-valued the property, as all the offers we received were under this. However clearly it is an inexact science.

I chose Jatin / Martyn Gerrard to sell my property as he showed the most confidence and enthusiasm for selling my property at the price I wanted. The Viewing process started almost immediately and we had 7 potential Buyers to view within the first week. On the 8th day Jatin called to tell me he had an offer and responsible for the negotiating to raise the offer to a price I considered acceptable. We then had a slow and hesitant Buyer take weeks and weeks to go through the Sales process. Jatin was instrumental in the hand holding of the Buyer and liaising with both Solicitors to ensure the Sale went through smoothly. I exchanged a few weeks later than expected and Jatin remained professional, knowledgable and personable throughout the process. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and recommend him to all.

I was selling my house recently in a difficult and slow market, and had tried other estate agents without success. As soon as Martyn Gerrard took over the sale, they managed to attract a number of seriously interested viewers and I soon received a very good offer, which I accepted. Rachel handled the whole sale process very professionally, despite facing a number of ups and downs along the way. With her pleasant and cheerful personality, she managed to smooth out any difficulties and successfully negotiate some issues I feared were not negotiable. She was always immediately available to respond to any queries by phone, in her supportive, patient and reassuring manner, and succeeded in completing the sale. I was also impressed by the teamwork of the whole Barnet office, headed by Susan, where everyone knew me by name and was fully acquainted with every stage of my case. Well done and thank you!

After we had experienced issues with a previous agency, Heran was really helpful in taking over and helping us find a buyer (and then another buyer after the first one fell through due to reasons outside of our control). He was easy to deal with and was great at keeping us up to date with viewings, potential offers etc. Since accepting the offer, Heran was able to manage the process with the buyer to ensure everything happened on time so that we could exchange. Due to delays with our onward purchase we needed Heran to work hard to ensure we didn't lose our buyer as we waited for things to sort themselves out and he did just that.

Dan and Heran put a great deal of effort into making sure that potential buyers were aware of my property, even before it launched on the internet. They both got to know the flat well, and spoke with authority about what it had to offer during viewings. Their knowledge of the local market is impressive, and I always felt I was in good hands when they advised me about marketing my property effectively. I was particularly pleased by the way in which Dan continued to follow the sales process once I had accepted an offer. Rather than moving his attention to other matters, he made it his business to know how the sale was progressing and kept in regular touch with me throughout.
