GoogleHad a terrible experience once our tenancy was coming to an end- to begin with Leaders knowingly overcharged us for the costs of a routine end of tenancy carpet clean (asking us to pay almost double the value out of our deposit) and it was only after asking for the invoice as proof that we spotted this. They never apologised- they just amended the amount we had to pay to the amount it actual was. Following that, we overpaid in rent and it took nearly 2 months and countless emails back and forth to chase the funds to get it back. We were told that we couldnβt speak directly to the accounts department, and that given the accounts department accidentally sent the funds already to the landlord and the landlord essentially didnβt want to give it back, that we had to wait for the new tenants to pay their rent the following month before we could get ours back. Even then we had to continue to chase after the new tenants paid their rent to get the money we were owed back. Very disappointing ending to an otherwise lovely tenancy. Please make sure to ask for invoices, tenants!
