We originally listed my Mum's home with Holmes Naden but the sale fell through and only a handful of people had viewed the house over several months. Gascoigne Halman relisted the cottage at the same price with more photos and I think we had as many viewers in 4 weeks as the previous 5 months, plus two viable offers! The sale took longer than hoped because of the chain, but the Prestbury team of Aimee, Ed and James were proactive in following up and communicating, and ultimately delivered the sale we wanted. Gascoigne Halman we're great with us. We we're under immense pressure to get the house over the line in time for the new school year, with us moving 25 miles away. We spoke regular, sometimes 3/4 times a day and Aimee and Ed we're always great and really helpful. Moving house is such a difficult time, especially when you have two children and no onwards support in your new location. They helped us with every question and got us over the line into our new home. Its been a dream to move to Prestbury for 15 years, and we did it with Gascoigne Halman's help. At times I felt I was pushing them too hard to get the deal done, for worry with getting the children into schools, but at all times the team we're understanding, thorough and always very helpful. We viewed a property and promptly submitted an offer containing sensitive personal and financial information, from this point the communication from Gascoigne Halman was non-existent / awful. Despite numerous chases nobody came back to me to advise the property had been let out to somebody else, something we later found out ourselves as the property had been marked 'Let Agreed' on on Rightmove.
