GoogleI was so pleased I chose Holmes Chapel Gascogne Halman to sell my property - they were just so good! Steph and Abbey dealt with everything so professionally and kept me informed at every stage of the process - they were both brilliant. The whole experience from beginning to the end was handled perfectly. Just to add Steph kept on top of both solicitors and pushed the process along without undue delay. GoogleI can not recommend the Holmes Chapel Branch of Gascoigne Halman highly enough. The team have been friendly, approachable and most importantly proactive in the sale of my Mum’s property. Nothing was too much trouble. The manager Steph, drove the sale forward once an offer had been made keeping everyone informed and solving any issues that arose. An excellent job from the initial valuation right through to completion!

GoogleThe Glossop branch will ignore your communication once they have you sign a tenancy agreement. Make sure when you move in you note every tiny fault because they will do a checkout report with extra faults from the check in report. My bins on moving in were full of metal yet they commented on a piece of small cardboard stuck to the bottom of one. I had no electricity for 4 days moving in. They didn't care. Awful and ignorant.

GoogleThe Team at Gascoigne Halman provided excellent support and advice when selling my property. Residing overseas during the sale made the process a little more difficult but the Team led by the very knowledgeable agent John Sweeton kept me informed throughout. Knowing the sale was in safe hands, eased any long distance concerns I had. I can thoroughly recommend them!

GoogleShockingly bad service Recently sold an apartment through them, they couldn’t get the first offer up at all even though £15k under asking Who offers under first offer and doesn’t expect to have it rejected and come up ? Then I literally heard nothing off them for months during the sale To top it off we have not actually heard off them the apartment sold last week and no thank you call, email or anything for giving them £3k in commission Yes they sold the apartment but being fair it was a very well priced apartment in Wilmslow which probably the easiest sale going Poor service and not even getting a call to say congratulations on your sale just shows they don’t care

GoogleWhen it came to selling my father's house, I was given the names of 3 local agents by friends and neighbours. Since I did not live locally, I did not know much about any of them, and had to be guided by their initial reaction to my enquiry. After some deliberation, and delays due to Covid and then the legal process, I decided on GH, who I had found to be the most helpful, and approachable and understanding of the situation, without being to pushy, they kept in touch, and abreast of our progress. When I was finally in a position to put the house on the market, all the communication was done by phone and email. At all times I found them very helpful and prompt in replying to my messages, no matter who I spoke to in the office. They kept me informed of who was visiting the property, and when, gave regular feedback. When there was a minor issue, they proved to be very proactive in helping move things along. I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending GH based on my experience. Marcus and the team- many thanks. you were brilliant.

GoogleIf you’re reading these reviews to make your final decision of who to instruct to get your house sold quickly and fairly. Then just pick up the phone to Gascoigne Halman Wilmslow. We sold our house with the team after a crazy experience with another apparently, high profile agent in the SK9 area. After this experience we just wanted honest, sound advice and this is exactly what we received. Even before we launched the property we had people waiting to view, which is testament to their tireless work to build a list of buyers who actually want to buy your house rather than just dream what it could be like. All the potential buyers had been vetted so neither Gascoigne or ourselves were wasting our time with pointless viewings. A brilliant experience and would never go anywhere else. Just pick up the phone and get your house sold.

GoogleI am unsure where to start, the biggest thing I want to say is a massive thank you to all. I can't tell you how many times I have mentioned to my friends and colleagues how fantastic Lucy, James, Zoe and all the people involved in my dads move have been. They really have gone above and beyond. Anything we weren't sure of they helped with, they helped fill in forms for the solicitors and even posted them. Nothing was too much trouble. GoogleGascoigne Halman have assisted with two house sales and a purchase in Wilmslow. It wasn’t always smooth sailing and the team went out of their way to keep things on track. They are always professional and approachable, guiding you through the process step by step. What you won’t find are pushy estate agent with pound signs in their eyes! Highly recommended.
