GoogleI was very pleased with the service provided by the Macclesfield branch. Georgia was always available to answer queries or help with the sales process. She offers a friendly and professional service and keeps in constant touch with her clients. I have no hesitation in recommending her highly.

GoogleA mixed review... We appointed Gascoigne Halman Macclesfield to sell our house as the popular high street agent. However with three sales fall through ( not necessary Gascoigne's fault, I do believe they tired to do all they could to stop that happening) we decided to take our business elsewhere. What was most disappointing was the constant changing of agent aligned to my house and the lack of communication between the agents. I often found myself ringing up to find an agent that knew half the story, so it was clear the files were not maintained and led to a lot of unnecessary back and forth. Average I would say.

GoogleWe recently both sold and bought a house with Gascoigne Halman. From start to finish they have been so helpful. When Matt came to value our old house he was so open and honest about its selling potential and then he went on to get the listing sorted over a couple of days from when we asked to sell with them. I have to say Georgia Day has been the most patient and helpful person during the whole process. It had been a long one and Georgia was dealing with both the sale and purchase side of things for us so was getting it from all angles. If I ever felt like I needed some confirmation on things that were going on or felt unsure about something Georgia would happily guide us through the process and was so patient during our negotiations. I did feel there was a few times where we lacked a bit of communication but it was hard to tell if this lay with Gascoigne or our solicitors (although we did use Gascoigne's advised solicitors DC Law.) Overall we would definitely recommend Gascoigne to seel your house.

GoogleGreat service from the Didsbury Gascoigne Halman team (used for sale & purchase). When our buyer dropped out, they were quick to find us a replacement. We were in a long chain and as it got closer to completion James (manager) took personal responsibility for moving it along and giving frequent updates.

Do NOT recommend Didsbury - my experience has been one of unprofessionalism and downright unethical practice. Told flat would be cleaned. It wasn’t. Didn’t bother to clear previous tenant electric debt. Infested by hornets and ended up in ED. Mould and damp everywhere. Boiler loose on wall. Downstairs tenant said he had had to pay for dehumidifiers and mould treatment himself. Consider saving yourself a lot of grief.

GoogleWe have recently completed on a property that we purchased through Gascoigne Halman Knutsford and have to say that the service we received right from day 1 has been excellent. We dealt with Dev Tyrer-Jones and can honestly say he went above and beyond what we would expect throughout the whole process, but particularly as everything was coming to a conclusion. He managed every parties expectations and his communication was excellent. We have no plans to ever move again, but for anyone who is about to move house we would definitely recommend Gascoigne Halman and particularly Dev at Knutsford.

GoogleSharon was amazing from start to finish. We were first time buyers and she was on hand to support us and answer our questions. The sale was completed so quickly and so much of that is down to Sharon, she kept the wheels turning all the time & was always on the ball in the best way. I would highly recommend Gascoigne Halman and would be eager to use them in the future! P.s. I also love the shopping bag we were given on completion 🥰

This company is really unprofessional but leading the Altrincham area due to less competitors in the market. By mistake they send some emails to me as Tenant and actually were supposed to send landlord suggesting that they can increase the rent and committed to another contract so on. In the otherway round Landlord sair I want to go away from them and its waste of money on Managed service. Really unpleasant business their doing in this market. Stay away from them. Local council should come up with certain rules towards this kind of cunning businesses

I would give less stars if possible During the tenancy it started already. the garage door fell down TWICE. and it took them 10 months to fix. Only when i started to not pay the full rent they started acting fixing it 2 months before we needed to leave the premisis Altough they make a check in and check out report they dont look at it. Claiming ridiculous amounts of money for things that where already like that before we moved in as visible on the checkin report. We've been waiting for 2months now to get our deposit back and they keep answering once every 3weeks if we're lucky and if they read our 10emails every 3 weeks to remind them

Right from the start Dan was proactive in helping to get our property on the market quickly and kept us fully updated throughout the process. He would always go the extra mile with transparent communication (often in evenings or at weekends). We’re very grateful to him and the team for keeping the chain and solicitors fully informed and helping to ease the stress levels at those critical points. There is no tacky sales pitch with Gascoignes just honest and approachable service. Thanks Dan for getting us in the new house!
