We have just completed as purchasers on a property near Holmes Chapel, after several disappointing experiences of selling and purchasing through various estate agents in the area. Gascoigne Halman were acting for the sellers on this occasion but unlike other estate agents, we felt really supported, valued and listened to by them and nothing was too much trouble, they were so proactive throughout the ups and downs of the transaction process, doing all they could to answer any queries, chase solicitors and do whatever they could to ensure a smooth sale but also a good experience for both seller and purchaser. Absolutely brilliant! These were our vendors estate agents and without them the whole process would have been a nightmare for us. We were only a small chain and we used an online company to complete our sale. What a mistake that was! The online company could not be contacted easily and you waited days for a response. Gascoigne Halman were at the end of a telephone. They dealt with all the questions we had promptly and responded to any messages within the day. They kept us up to date with how far along in the proceedings we were and even chased up our estate agents when we could not. Our estate agents actually only contacted us once. I have no hesitation in recommending Gascoigne Halman to anyone. If we ever move again they will be the only estate agents we would consider using. They are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I really can’t praise them enough.

Doug guided at this early stage giving us to invaluable advice as first time sellers. Special mention must be made to Dev. Dev was our selling agent.
