GoogleWe bought a house through Gascoignes - Macclesfield. The Vendors (a company not an individual) were extremely difficult to deal with. Everyday from beginning to end brought its problems, however our light in this dark tunnel was Ella! Ella listened to us, negotiated all the concerns we raised, kept us informed every step of the way, even if there was nothing to tell us she rang to keep in touch. She was reassuring and realistic when necessary, and also sympathetic and empathetic just when we needed it. She is an absolute credit to Gascoignes and it was a pleasure to meet her - will miss our regular conversations but wish her well in her undoubtedly successful career. Also thanks to Matt who stepped in when Ella was on well deserved days off. Great team - thank you for making a very difficult journey as smooth as you could.

GoogleThis is the second property Gascoigne's in Sale has sold for us in the last couple of years. They were very efficient from start to finish, secured many viewings and kept us informed throughout the process. A special thanks to Julie, Lewis, James and Joe. We would say Gascoigne's are undoubtedly the best in the area, so if you are thinking of selling we would highly recommend them!

GoogleWe chose Gascoigne Halman in Sale to sell our house and found them to be very professional and efficient. They conducted the viewings and gave us feedback after each one. They also kept us informed of what was happening once we'd accepted an offer and matters were in the hands of solicitors. All of the staff we had contact with were lovely too - the branch manager Lewis and his team (Julie, Annie, Hannah, Joe and James) were all friendly, knowledgeable and caring. We would definitely recommend Gascoigne Halman to anyone selling their property in Sale!

GoogleI had arrived for a viewing in Manchester M16. Agent and I agreed to a time. Agent arrives at the wrong address - okay that's fine even though I left work and have to make up the time for this. Then the agent answers my email face to face about the lack of appliances in the studio! You should have emailed me in advance to not WASTE my time!! Then I tell Sarah that I'd still like to view. She tried the lockbox code and says that it's broken!! How unprofessional! Anyway, the lack of coordination between Ysanne (who I booked my viewing with) and Sarah (who came to the viewing) is unbelievable!! I ask if I can view the other property available on the same road which was only posted on rightmove 3 days ago and she says it was taken .She then says she's got to go to another viewing. YAY! It all seems super fishy. Don't trust these lot and I suppose I dodged a bullet. I am Manuela (before you say you don't recognise my name).

GoogleWe can’t recommend Gascoigne Halman Solicitors in Bramhall highly enough. From day one, the service was outstanding, Dan came out to see us, which immediately impressed us and made our decision easy. We knew straight away we wanted to work with him. Throughout what turned into a long and complicated chain (through absolutely no fault of their own), the team kept us informed every step of the way. Communication was clear, honest, and reassuring throughout the entire process. Max did the viewings and was very professional, and the rest of the team were just as fantastic, whenever we needed information or clarification, the office staff were always helpful and approachable. We genuinely felt supported from start to finish, and thanks to their hard work, everything finally got over the line. A huge thank you to the whole team, we wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.

GoogleDan at Gascoigne Halman was the estate agent for the house we have bought, vastly more responsive and helpful than the estate agents I used to sell ours. Very helpful for arranging viewings, surveys, and negotiation between buyer and seller - also kept all involved parties up to date when coming to the final hurdle of exchange of contracts.

GoogleDon't ever even view a property marketed by these clowns - you'll never ever stop hearing from them! Their system doesn't let you unsubscribe from their emails, but I emailed them directly and was told I'd be removed from their list some time ago - I've just had another spam email off them! Horribly unprofessional handling of your personal data, and deeply disrespectful. Even countrywide group are better than this. Will be sure to avoid using if I ever move! EDIT: They matched my name to their records and took advantage of holding my phone number to call me about this review, which really proves my point. This is a true reflection of my experience and opinion, and one wonders how many other negative reviews might have been removed following similar requests. They certainly offered in the call to remove my details, but we all know how well that's gone in the past - and doesn't change the fact that they don't have a working unsubscribe function. EDIT 2: I want to address the reply. The reason I know they don't have a working unsubscribe function is because I used it and kept getting emails. The unsubscribe link is present, the functionality is not. It's correct that I didn't email, I've checked my records and apparently that was countrywide. But I only got mixed up because all the rest of my spam email frustration has been with Gascoigne Halman, including the recent email out of the blue that prompted the review. The confirmation that I had previously used the unsubscribe function is also an incrimination, because I did not use it after receiving the most recent email.

Telephone your local branch if you wish to be removed entirely from our mailing list.” By clicking “HERE” you will have been able to successfully unsubscribe. Our records indicate that you indeed clicked “HERE” which in fact resulted in you unsubscribing successfully following the last property alert your received. You mention that you “emailed us directly and you mention you were told you would be removed from the list some time ago”. I am unable to locate any emails which we received directly from you in relation to this. I would like to stress that we treat all personal data with the strictest confidence and we adhere to all GDPR guidelines. It has been a challenging process but Liz in particular has been a Star! GoogleWe had a great experience with Sharon on our recent purchase as first time buyers. She was proactive with communication to both us and the rest of the chain and was instrumental in keeping the process moving. She was always available to call and via email, and would reach out to us immediately any time there was news or things to be actioned, overall a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend for anyone buying or selling in the area.
