GoogleGenerally speaking, it’s a pretty good agency, I can’t speak for everyone, but Kyanne Neavin is a very nice and helpful person. However, looking beyond the virtual side of things, the reality is that sluggishness and a slow pace of work are the norm there. Finalizing the purchase of a "no-chain" property took eight months, and I ended up losing over £7,000, money I had intended to use for renovating the new place, because I had to renegotiate my mortgage; the new agreement came in more than £7,000 lower than the previous one, and I was only informed of this two days before the exchange. So, if you don't mind being hit at the last minute with a surprise extra cost of £7,000 or £10,000, feel free to go with this agency.

Dear Mariusz, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Firstly, I would like to apologise on behalf of both our legal services and mortgage teams. Unfortunately, you experienced a number of difficulties throughout your transaction, largely due to significant staff turnover. At RG Law, three case handlers left the firm during your purchase, which understandably caused disruption to the progression of your case. I appreciate how stressful this must have been for you. In addition, your remortgage application was picked up at the last minute by Just Mortgages. They have also experienced staff turnover this year, which meant your case was not reviewed as promptly as it should have been. This resulted in delays, leaving your mortgage offer close to expiry and requiring an extension. Following the extension, the lender reduced the amount they were prepared to lend. This is typically due to changes identified during their reassessment, such as additional credit commitments or other financial factors. I apologise if this was not fully explained to you at the time. As a first-time buyer, you should have been kept better informed throughout the process by both the solicitors and the mortgage advisers. I'm sorry that this was not your experience. Thank you for recognizing my own support during your purchase despite the challenges. It was a pleasure working with you, and I truly appreciate your patience and perseverance throughout the process. GoogleFelicity j lord black heath branch were amazing from the start. Within the first few weeks I had a number of viewings and an offer which was more than I had initially expected. Vicki Tait carried out the viewing and has stayed in contact with me throughout the whole process, even letting me know if she was going to be away from the office and who would be best to contact in her absence. The whole team were great and were able to give me updates even when Vicki wasn’t in. I would 100% recommend. They always answer the phone and return phone calls if they aren’t free at the time. Felicity j lord were actually the second agent I used but I wish I had gone with them from the start. Thank you for all of your work on my sale!

GoogleWe had a really positive experience with Lenny O’Shea and the team at Felicity J Lord. We were both selling our flat and buying another property at the same time, so there were quite a few moving parts and a lot that needed to come together within a fairly tight timeframe. Lenny was excellent throughout. He was very experienced, practical and reassuring, and always seemed to know exactly what needed to happen next. He kept things moving, followed up when needed and was always available when we had questions or needed advice. A special mention also to Hazal, who found the buyer for our flat and was fantastic to deal with. What we appreciated most was feeling that Lenny and the team were genuinely on top of everything. Moving house is never completely stress-free, but having people you trust managing the process makes an enormous difference. We would happily recommend Lenny, Hazal and the Felicity J Lord team to anyone selling or buying in the area.

GoogleEXCELLENT EXPERIENCE SELLING OUR FLAT THROUGH FJL With a different estate agent, we had had a difficult time selling our flat over the course of a year (we got close to completion no fewer than 3 times, before the buyer dropped out for various reasons - mortgage issues, change of heart etc). So we decided instead to sell through FJL, as we had had a good experience engaging with them on our purchase. Lenny took on the purchase, and (I hope he won't mind me saying) we were initially surprised at how young he is! But we should not have worried, as he was everything you would want in a selling agent. He immediately worked very hard to get us a large number of viewings in a short period of time, he gave us helpful and sensible advice, he was always available for any queries, and he managed the buyers very well. After a painful year of trying and failing to sell our flat through another agent, it was a pleasure to switch to FJL and have our sale run smoothly start to finish (which included achieving the price we had targeted). Kudos to Lenny and team!

GoogleFelicity J Lord proved to be very proactive in getting my property sold in a difficult market (2 other agents turned up nothing). Olivia was particularly helpful. She is friendly, attentive, helpful and efficient. She made potential buyers feel at ease and was not at all pushy. I would certainly use FJL again. Not the cheapest, but they seem to get results.

GoogleWe have endured a chaotic period during which rent on our 2 properties were withheld by agents FJL, despite having been paid on time by tenants. Countless phone call messages went unreturned, emails unanswered, promises broken until finally the funds were released to us by FJL yesterday. The stand out exception to this sorry episode has been JEAN PIPER in the Bow office. Super competent and efficient, Jean has taken responsibility for solving the problems, liaised with FJL accounts, apologised several times. She even contacted our tenants to say sorry to them for the mess FJL had caused. Jean is an absolute diamond and the 5* score is for her. As for FJL accounts department, 1* is one too many!
