I was very impressed with Curchods. We were in a dual agency arrangement initially and the quality buyers/qualified leads were from Curchods. This was important to us as viewings are very disruptive for our children, one with special needs. Curchods were considerate of this whereas we felt the other agent was just sending anyone whether they could afford the price or not. Curchods worked to OUR objectives - to get a solid, realistic offer from a proceedable buyer and were very good at managing our expectations during this time. We quickly moved to a sole agent basis with Curchods who remained patient in a tough market and stayed the course in terms of properly qualified viewings.. Perhaps more impressive was the management of a long chain which lost links in the chain on two occasions due to outside influences (e.g. a comedy overreaction from a 1st time buyer due to the Brexit vote). However, they kept it together, replaced the links quickly and communicated well throughout. Finally, it is worth noting that although we had a named contact looking after us, it was nice that several others were able to deal with our queries and handle matters if our named contact was out. So in conclusion, we highly recommend them. If you judge Estate Agents by numbers of viewings through the door, they will not come out top. Neither should they. If you judge Estate Agents by legitimate, qualified viewings and getting solid offers to completion, go with Curchods. They will get you the right deal and get it over the line.

We bought a house from the Walton branch of Curchods, the communication was very good throughout, they were bold and ambitious with the initial chain and equally were tough when the chain started to flex. We always felt in safe hands and I wouldn't hesitate to reccommend the branch.

View AgentsThey say that buying/selling a house is one of the most stressful undertakings one can engage in during one's life. Well, my family and I have had the pleasure of BUYING a house in respect of which Daniel Carter and Graham Tolfrey of Curchods, Shepperton represented the Seller. Daniel was our main Negotiator with Graham stepping in whilst Daniel was on vacation. This is the first review I have ever written and placed on the internet as I do not as a rule do so but the truly excellent service my family and I received on our purchase deserves recognition. Daniel's skills as a Negotiator are impressive; a calm, pleasant personality with an ability to react quickly to requests and to insert himself firmly between, buyer, seller and two sets of law firms when matters needed addressing with the potential to become difficult. Daniel has also assisted by being present at the property whenever we have asked allowing us to plan well for necessary works on Completion. This has enabled a more comfortable welcome for my family to our new home. As mentioned, Graham also supported Daniel and his relaxed "can do" but focused attitude supported us well in the early stages of negotiation and agreement. It has been a pleasure to be introduced to Curchods Shepperton and whilst we have no intention of selling our house soon, we are actively recommending Curchods as a result and if we ever sell we will look no further for an Agent.

He has a very good understanding about what it meant to us to find our new home therefore has the perfect approach and also was able to show us the potential that the property has, and finally pictured us living in there. Robert showed us round several properties and provided good insights into the houses and the local area. He was very fair and articulate when we discussed house prices and regularly kept in contact throughout the time we were under offer. He went out of his way to assist in answering some late queries and helped co-ordinate the vendor's solicitors to facilitate a time pressured exchange of contracts. He was always available to answer questions and presented a friendly and welcoming first impression of the Horsley locality.

We began our property search over a year ago, and the first property we viewed in the Horsley area was with Robert Jenkins. Throughout the ups and downs of trying to purchase a new home, he has been an absolute delight to deal with. Robert understood exactly what we were looking for from the very beginning, he provided honest advice throughout, was always positive, never tried to suggest we needed to make compromises on what we were after, and has been helpful above and beyond expectation. When not in the office or available to speak to, I could always rely on his prompt reply to my calls or queries. Even as a home buyer, I felt Robert had our best interests at heart, and I am so pleased that the home we finally purchased was through Curchods. During the course of viewing many properties, we have also met and dealt with the other members of the Curchods East Horsley team, and each one has been equally informative, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Curchods East Horsley comes highly recommended!

We bought our bungalow through Burns and Webber and following a difficult sale we needed a quick purchase. Jurgen dealt with us recognising our position immediately. We viewed late on Saturday afternoon and a deal was struck that same evening with our last test from Jurgen confirming the deal at 1145 pm! We managed to complete in three weeks and four days and this was due in no small way to the help, advice and support we received throughout. We felt the service we received was exceptional topped of by a bouquet of flowers for Mrs H when we collected the keys. In summary, a faultless service from an agent we can unequivocally recommend.
