FacebookWe had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience renting through Country Properties. The house we rented was in an unacceptable condition, it was full of mould, which posed serious health concerns and made living there deeply unpleasant. Despite raising these issues, no real help or support was offered. We spent a significant amount of our own money trying to make the place liveable, which should never have been necessary in a properly maintained rental property. What made the situation worse was the attitude of some of the staff. We were met with condescension and rudeness when we sought assistance. We eventually refused to deal with certain individuals due to their dismissive and unhelpful manner. This experience has left us deeply disappointed with how little regard was shown for our wellbeing as tenants. We would not recommend renting through Country Properties based on how we were treated.

We do take the welfare of our tenants, as well as the maintenance of our clients’ properties, very seriously. Having commissioned an independent specialist survey of the property, it was confirmed that no damp was present, but a build-up of condensation had occurred. Recommendations were made to prevent the problem, and modifications were also made to the property to further reduce condensation, so we are disappointed that you feel that no help or support was offered. My experience with the Letting Side of CP Ampthill was unfortunately less than satisfactory. While there were moments of professionalism and helpfulness, the overall service from the management team was significantly impacted by very poor communication and a general lack of competence. Interactions often felt dismissive and unprofessional, leading to delays and frustration. I hope the company takes steps to improve their customer service and operational efficiency to ensure a consistently positive experience for all clients.

GoogleFantastic Agents. Used CP Ampthill for both purchase and sale. Jake handled our sale and helped us purchase, Sasha was our sales progression. Extremely professional, efficient and proactive in both areas whilst developing a genuine friendship throughout the process. Never had to check/chase anything and never failed to get through to speak and seek guidance. Jake is very easy to work with, has a reassuring depth of knowledge of the area and does exactly what he says he will do. Sasha is a phenomenal agent who manages to skilfully orchestrate all parties to move the sale to completion. CP Ampthill are the best agents we have used.

GoogleIt is always said that moving home is one of the 3 most stressful things you can do in life. It’s true !!! Although my sale took 5 months to complete due to complexities regarding freehold/leasehold without Laura at Country Properties help I doubt I would have seen it through. She was always at the end of the phone when I had a question or needed advice. She liaised with the solicitors at times when I felt I was getting nowhere with them. I’m sure by the time my sale came to completion Laura hearing my voice in her sleep. I can only thank her for her help and support, she is a credit to Country Properties.

GoogleMyself and my partner, Natalie, purchased our first home through Country Properties, Biggleswade and were fortunate enough to have Laura Simmons assigned to the sale. Laura was a fantastic help from day one of general enquiries all through to completion. Where we had times of frustrations through lack of updates from either legal parties, Laura was quick to action and keep the purchase moving. Laura had great communication throughout and when not in office, her team were in the know of our case, showing top communication throughout the branch. We'd certainly recommend CP and of course Laura herself. We plan to be in our home for many years to come, but should the time come to move on, we'd happily contact Country Properties.

GoogleI purchased my first home in March with the help of Laura at the Biggleswade branch. Every step of the way Laura kept me very informed on the processes and answered all questions I had being a first time buyer. We were able to turn around the handover of keys within our target time frame and I’d definitely recommend using country properties as a buyer.

GoogleWhat can I say, Jamie and his team have been outstanding. Purchased my dream house through them and I was kept updated every step of the way. They went above and beyond (Jamie especially), chasing solicitors, speaking with the vendor, nothing was too much to ask. To top it all off, the sale went through extremely quick!
