In a world where the word estate agent is typically dominated by unpleasant associations I must say that Charters do their best to buck the trend. They are genuinely helpful, knowledgeable, happy people who you can get hold of pretty easily. The sale of the property was an absolutely painful process with the first buyer falling through and the second buyer having some major issues with the sale of her property. The whole ordeal dragged on for over half a year and I got a significant amount of grey hairs due to the various solicitors that were involved in the process. Charters however did their best to speed things up, keep me informed and did pretty much everything in their power to get this pushed through. I would recommend you use Charters to sell your property as they know what they are doing. Thanks again to Noni and the dedicated team.

We have just concluded our house sale with Charters and were fortunate to have Leanne looking after us during the process. The sale was quite protracted due to the number of properties involved and Leanne proved to be extremely professional and a delight to work with. Peter led the sale of my mother's bungalow. He was positive, cheerful and helpful from our very first meeting onwards. He made sure we were kept fully and regularly up to date with the selling process and was always there to offer his thoughts on the state of the marketplace and discuss the sale of the bungalow. Dealing with Mike and his staff at the Alton office has been a pleasure. Always cheerful, Mike has kept me informed on the sale of my mothers house, enabling me to keep my two sisters constantly up to date with progress. Your industry gets a lot of bad press, much of it warranted, but when you find an agent who is always at the end of the phone for good or bad news and takes you through the process professionally and with an element of humour (sometimes you just have to laugh) then you put your faith in that agent to deliver....and Mike did. Credit to his team too, very charming and attentive and know their subject. I have recommended Charters in the past and my opinion of them as leading local agents in Alton has only been enhanced by Mike's attitude to his work. Thanks Mike, it really is appreciated.

We switched to Charters to sell our house when another agent had failed to secure many viewings. Sam understood our requirements and quickly arranged more viewings in one week than we had seen in the past 3 months! We have had interaction with a number of the Charters team, including Gary, Sarah and Vicki. All have been very professional, friendly and helpful We sold to a cash buyer, and Sam remained involved throughout to ensure the entire transaction went smoothly. Its not often that I recommend people, but I would recommend Charters and Sam without reservation.

We have had a successful outcome after 5 months of selling our late mother's home,the journey through this process has been steered by mike. For 3 siblings selling a probate property has been challenging, both for managing our expectations and hearing some of our prospective buyers less than heart warming comments!! One such being that we needed to cut the grass before the survey . I guess what you need in this process is some humour, realistic advice and guidance as to how to manage the emotional element of it all , as well as the cold facts on the uk house buying process. Mike has been able to do all that we asked of him and his cheery voice and optimism has been valued. Mike has remained human and professional a difficult cliff edge to walk in the house buying world . Also Mikes team have been consistent in their dealings with us, keeping information flowing.
