These guys are really nice and friendly is a term which is thrown around a lot but to be honest in the process of buying a house they're irrelevant. Most important attribute is competency. And the staff at balgores romford are definitely the most competent and also very welcoming and approachable. Had a really pleasant experience purchasing my property through them. They were always there when I had any questions and also they had the answers to all my queries even in the process of the legal work. They definitely know what they're doing. So -- I don't like estate agents generally. This is based on historic bad experiences over the years. I have little trust and zero confidence. To this end, I sold my property using Purple Bricks, as I wanted to be more in control and I wanted greater oversight of what was happening myself. I had no choice however, in using estate agents to find a property to purchase. This kind of filled me with a little dread and I totally was not looking forward to all the blah and bs. I however met Ricky Archer at a property that I had arranged to view and he just seemed different. He had a really nice way and came across as decent and honest. This was my first impression of him. I didn't like the house he was showing me and it was over priced (in fact it is still on the market now). I had no interest in buying it, but I really appreciated meeting an agent like Ricky. About a month later, a property came on the market that I was very interested in. I called Balgores to arrange a viewing. About half way through the call, I realised that I was speaking to Ricky, who I had met previously. He remembered me and the house that he had previously shown me around. I was really pleased when Ricky said that he would be showing me the new property himself.He showed me around the new property and again was professional, charming, funny and honest. He said that as soon as it came on the market, he knew it would be what I was looking for and he was right. Ricky was able to negotiate well between the seller and I, to get an price that we could both agree on. This was efficient and he kept me up to date and managed my expectations extremely well.Even though Ricky was working for the seller and not for me, he kept me up to date throughout the whole process. He gave me his mobile number and was always available for calls and texts. He proactively managed the sales process until contracts were exchanged; speaking to solicitors and other parties in the chain. We were able to achieve a really fast exchange and agree a completion date. Ricky was fantastic throughout!He has changed my view of estate agents somewhat and I would recommend him to anyone. Balgores Hornchurch seems to be a great company too, based on all my interactions with them! I will send anyone looking to buy or sell a house in the Hornchurch area, directly to Ricky Archer.The only thing that I did't like was being told that I had to see the Balgores Financial Advisor and an appointment being made for me. I prefer to do my mortgage business directly with my bank and have no need to intermediaries. I already had my mortgage agreed in principle and in the end didn't attend the appointment, but it was kind of put to me, that it was compulsory to attend in order to be able to purchase the house I wanted. This isn't ethical and I hope that this is not common practice.Thank you for all your help Ricky. I hope to see you on completion day next month!

Great customer service/care. Me and my partner (First time buyers) brought a house through balgores basildon last week. We were shown around by an estate agent who was great. Very help full. We also went back a few weeks later to do some measuring up, estate agent was great and letting us get on with what we had to do. Sarah is who I dealt with most and she was brilliant. Really helpful on the phone, updating us weekly. Also a big help as it's all new to me guiding me on what's the next step. I would 100% recommend balgores basildon for any one who wishes to buy a house through them as they couldn't do more for you. I did start looking for a property around Chelmsford about 3-4 months ago, Balgores was one of the estate agent I had contact with. They booked for me few visits in a day, to a variety of property just to give me a viewing on the market. They booked me a last but not least one by the end of that day, convinced that it was the one to see! I am really glad I sold my house with Balgores Agency. At first, I thought they may be so busy that they wouldn’t give me the time I need to sell my house and understand the process as I know they are well known but these weren’t fact just my assumptions. Kish Oogarah was my contact and he was really nice and professional. He got involved until the end of the sale, keeping himself updated on where the sale was at. He gave me a few calls to keep me updated. It was really useful to sell with Balgores and I would recommend it.
