If you want to waste your time on the market, recieve no support from the agent. Have them make up contracts. Never have staff to do viewings and end up taking your own photos of your property on your iphone and have them not let you leave them as an agent when you raise the issues. Reeds rains Hull is the agent for you.

GoogleI have had a great experience with Reeds Rains Durham throughout a sale and purchase, that have definitely not been the easiest. The team were incredibly helpful and were so kind whenever I was stressed or upset. They were always happy to talk, responded to my enquiries quickly and couldn't do enough. I've lost count how many times Tony has made me feel better when i have called in tears, after receiving not so positive news re the process. Debbie showed us around the initial property we were interested in and couldn't help enough. And poor Charlene has been inundated with my emails, but was always happy to help. They are a great team !

I highly recommend Reeds Rains to anyone looking to rent, I hope in the near future I could have their guidance to buy a property as well. GoogleExcellant service. I have been genuinely impressed with the team at Reeds Rains Durham. They have been prompt in getting back to me with calls and emails and despite living abroad the process has been pretty smooth sailing. They have went the extra mile helping me out with gathering my mail and doing my meter readings, which they simply didn't have to but helped me out immensely, given my situation. I've found them professional and helpful, which was a godsend following a poor experience I had at another big chain agent in Durham. A special mention to Tony, Debs and Jordan :) I would highly recommend the team.

TrustpilotFirst and last time being with reeds…
First and last time being with reeds rains, they have offered us no support through a stage of our tenancy where we were being harassed by our mentally ill neighbour, we have tried everything we can to resolve the issues we have with no help off reeds rains what so ever, were lucky to get through on the phone and the call back service is useless too. We are trying to opt out of our tenancy as soon as possible as our home life is being made unbearable by our neighbour and reeds rains continue to do nothing on our behalf, and considering they "understand our circumstances" the least this company can do is just let us leave quietly, but we're now on hold waiting for landlord (also a waste of time - and never mentioned existing problems with neighbours, which she was aware of, until we had already moved in) to give her opinion on what charges we should incur upon leaving. All we want to do is leave the tenancy with as minimal charges as possible due to this being out of our control, but it's proving difficult with uncooperative estate agents and uncooperative landlords. I'd probably advise to give these estate agents a miss as the service they will provide you with - AFTER THE SALE - will be absolutely diabolical.There is one person at Reeds Rains that helped us towards the end and really helped us get out of this, the landlady was trying to claim damages that were there before our tenancy and this individual at Reeds Rains helped to identify the damages in the pre tenancy photos, the landlady then took desperate measures for literally any money she could get back. We're so glad we're not there this Christmas, and I feel for anyone in the future that comes across this house/place, it comes across as a lovely little cul-de-sac (drive) but on one side you've got a family that leaves their dogs to bark consistently until owners arrive, and once the owners arrive (you'll hear them) they'll probably chuck them outside to continue barking where there's numerous piles of dog mess for lovely viewing from your bedroom window (which you'll smell in the summer from your own garden), then the man of the house will give you a lovely wake up call every weekend with his power tools in the shed, and the awful stench of burning wood on the fire no matter wether its 22 degrees outside you'll have the lovely smell of smoke every day of the week, unless he's out then you'll have the neighbour across revving his boat at 8am sharp Saturday taking his place. Then the other side you'll have the mentally ill suspect slamming doors and banging on walls all hours of the night, stalking you around the car park and trying anything for a reaction so she can call 999 and play victim. Your landlady won't want to hear it either, don't expect any help, or the police, which are happy to leave a young woman in a vulnerable position being stalked and harassed by this "woman".Shame really, lovely little place on a new estate in Elton but if you can see a boat out of your kitchen window, you've got banging on one side and dogs barking on the other, then I wish you all the best.

GoogleFinally at the end of a very long dispute after they wrongly claimed for redecoration due to marks caused by damp, fleas in the house when my animals have never had a single flea on them and damage that existed prior to my tennacy. It was obviously all thrown out by the dispute service. Constantly get calls and messages from them requesting access to a house under their control when I moved out months ago. Even got an email saying I was a lead tennant in a property in middlesbourgh when Ive never lived in my life! Allowed me to live in a property where the central heating didnt work throughout the winter months. Only got a message saying they were coming to quote for repairs after id finally moved out!
