GoogleWe have just exchanged contracts on our first house with the help of Kaine. As a first time buyers, who didn't know the area very well, we were very grateful for Kaine's help and advice. He made the process much easier for us and was always friendly and responsive to our queries. Thomas Merrifield were very helpful and professional throughout. We have dealt with a few estate agents in our house search and found these were by far the best. I would really recommend, especially to first time buyers.

GoogleThere is no one better at selling houses. Our house had been on the market for 3 years and we never thought it would sell. Graeme and the team were relentless in their support to help us navigate the whole system. I cannot recommend the Kidlington team enough. They truly went above and beyond.

GoogleFrom the start to finish very impressed, honest, reliable and always ready to help. I found them very truthful and gave us a true value for our house they didn’t try and oversell. We had viewings regularly always on time none canceled and immediate feed back from the viewings. After just 6 viewings we had several buyers interested in our home. Then all of a sudden price agreed and sold. We got a price over our original expectation and were very pleased. They kept us up to date within the next 12 weeks procedures but most of all informed us of a really reliable , accurate and fantastic surveyor, that we used. The surveyor put our hearts to rest a few times when the process started. I don’t often right a review unless I’m 100% satisfied and truly recommend . We wouldn’t hesitate to use again . GoogleWe recently bought our first house, so can't compare to any previous house purchasing experience, but we can nonetheless give a very confident recommendation for the Abingdon branch of Thomas Merrifield estate agents. Kaine Peverley was always there to answer queries and responded to emails and phonecalls with minimal delay. Viewings were arranged to fit with our work schedule and were a relatively hands-off affair, which suited us well. Kaine handled the negotiation process from initial offer through to completion with tact and charm, and was proactive at seeking information to give us and the seller updates on progress. This is clearly a well-run branch with experienced staff, who have demonstrated a high level of professionalism. Kain was just fundamentally a really nice guy, too!

GoogleHorrendous customer service. Attempted to view a property, enquirer via Rightmove/Zoopla. Was confirmed via email and then called two days later asking if the viewing was confirmed (despite 3 message back and forth). After driving to the listing (in Crawley), had no method to communicate directly with agent given limited mobile phone service in the area. Found reception in the nearby pub and after calling the main office, asked if it was normal to receive limited service as it felt quite cold and transactional compared to other estate agents engaged with previously. Was greeted with quite a condescending tone and a ‘what do you expect?’ Will not recommend to work with Thomas Merrifield and instead urge you to train your team on customer service and managing interactions in a less condescending manner.

Rude and condescending. Poor experiences when attempting to view a property. I drove over 2 hours to view a property represented by them; however, cancelled after poor phone interactions as I would not feel comfortable giving Thomas Merrifield any sales commissions. Would recommend to think about how poor first (and second) impressions will limit your ability to give your clients good pricing power and negotiation.

GoogleStrongly recommend the team at TM Wallingford led by Craig Kirkman. No nonsense, down to earth and experienced approach leveraging broad local market knowledge. Action oriented, they get on with the job and set realistic goals based on market insight. Sold our property in Dorchester on Thames successfully in a timely manner. They may not be the least expensive option in the area but you get what you pay for.

After our chain had fallen through Stuart managed to get our house listed and sold with 3 days, effectively keeping the chain together. It goes to show there really is value in carefully selecting who you choose to sell your home.

I have just purchased a property in Bicester, I found the property on Thomas Merrifield site, arranged a viewing, was impressed and amazed to get viewing the following afternoon. As a visually impaired person I was again impressed at the way I was treated by staff who did everything they could to assist. I made an offer which was accepted and once again team Merrifield were on hand to walk me through the process, Glyn was a tower of strength he understood my sight made it hard for me to see forms and he gladly accepted the responsibility of form filling. Reading out and explaining every thing as he went. Any questions I had were answered and although I have heard it many times that moving home is "stressful" I can honestly say that thank's to Glyn I did not experience stress. The sale was completed 28/10 and I would like to say that I have no hesitation in recommending Thomas Merrifield as an estate agency "with a heart" In closing I would like to say thank you Team Merrifield you are all superstars Led Doran
