GoogleIncredible service from all the team. Sharon went above and beyond, her help and support helped to keep the sale of our property on track and saved my sanity somewhat. The sales team did an incredible job of selling our home within a few weeks and achieved exactly the amount we were after. Lastly, Jon was fantastic, Knew the local market extremely well and kept us well informed throughout the negotiation process, giving his professional advice where needed. Highly recommended.

GoogleFinding a professional estate agent who offers service beyond writing particulars and putting the property on the various property portals can be difficult. Some, once the house is under offer, just leave the solicitors to deal with things, leaving the vendors not knowing when they are likely to exchange. Having instructed Thomas Merrifield in Witney as a result of having viewed a property with them some time previously, I already had a good impression of how professional they are. Throughout the process the whole team have been highly professional and I could not have asked for better service. They kept me informed at every stage and were always prepared to go the extra mile and make calls to find out where we were in the sales chain. The staff all saw my property and got to know about it so when a prospective buyer asked questions they were able to provide answers. If you are looking for an agent who offers 'service' I can highly recommend the team in Witney. They have worked in the profession long enough to have learned that to sell houses and have satisfied clients, the practices of yesteryear are still vitally important.

GoogleDavid and his team sold our house in Cholsey this year. They were absolutely amazing. We had a fixed objective and they never tried to change our mind or put any pressure, their advise was always impartial, their professionalism spotless. They had to deal with some difficult customers and helped to reach the best possible agreement once they found the right buyers. They are personable, warm, honest and have been always responsive when needed even during odd hours!! They also recommended the lawyers who were very very good. I cannot thank them enough. Thomas Merrifield in Wallingford is indeed a fantastic choice as estate agent.

A few minor roadblocks encountered with paperwork, as is usual with buying and selling houses, but David was very much on the case to motivate the rest of our chain and was a pleasure to deal with.

GoogleWe just sold our house through Thomas Merrifield in Wallingford and we can't speak more highly of David, Craig, Tiffany and the team. It took a long time to find a buyer but that was clearly an issue with the housing market being so challenging. The team never faltered in their determination to find a buyer and we lost count of the number of viewings they managed to set up. Our eventual buyer saw our house back in June 2023 but they needed to sell their own property before they could make an offer and achieved this by switching their own sale to Thomas Merrifield. Once we had the chain established, the team was very proactive in moving the process along.

They were informative, attentive and speedy in their response in regards to the property, offers made and finally any queries whilst the property went through conveyancing.
