Wallingford Branch: We couldn’t recommend Thomas Merrifield (Wallingford) enough. Luke and Tiffany were highly professional and exceptionally talented at all stages of our house sale process; our house was marketed and valued with care and as a result we accepted an offer soon after going on the market. We were able to reach a completion date within our desired timeframe due to their diligence with the solicitors and their rapport with all involved in the process. GoogleWe are about to complete on our first home. The team at Thomas Merrifield have been outstanding. I would like to give particular mention to Kaine. He helped us through the process, always making himself available to support us , give us advice and made what some may consider a stressful process very smooth and stress-free. He made sure that we had a contact in case he was out of office. Everybody we spoke to was kind, considerate and overall just very, very nice! Communication was great throughout. We can't praise the team enough- thank you so much for all of your help, you have been a pleasure to work with.

GoogleNow we have been in our new home nearly 4 months I felt it was time to big up Thomas Merrifield Abingdon particularly Kaine, Andrew, Helen and Sandra who all made us feel relaxed about the whole thing, our old home was sold in 6 days...over asking price and that was awesome, after 26 years we were naive and nervous about the whole process but Kaine went above and beyond and his professionalism was impeccable... I was sad when we had completed as Thomas Merrifield had been a constant in our lives for a few months!! I can't recommend them enough from valuation to viewings to help with surveys and right up to completion they were awesome 👏 Now we have our project house and are busy putting our stamp on it (and dealing with clouds of brick dust!!) I'd like to say we won't be needing Thomas Merrifield again but.... never say never 😉

GoogleAfter viewing properties through multiple estate agents, Thomas Merrifield was by far the best. Easy to communicate with, responsive, friendly and very knowledgeable about properties when viewing. Made our process so much easier than if we'd gone with anyone else!

GoogleWhat a difference! We had a terrible experience trying to sell with another main local agent, who seemed unable to get the house details right or provide useful feedback after viewings. When Thomas Merrifield took over, we had offers within days! The sales team are experienced and proactive - no weekend part timers and I am convinced that their professional and friendly approach is the reason they found the ideal buyer for us. Once the sale was agreed, they continued to work on our behalf to ensure everything went to plan and it was reassuring to get regular progress updates from Glyn (no generic automated emails). I had assumed that marketing a property these days is all about the online advert, but Thomas Merrifield found our buyer before the advert went live! It's been a revelation to see the difference that a competant agent can make.

GoogleJon and the whole team did an amazing job of selling our home. After our house did not attract a single offer during the first four months with another agent, we switched to Thomas Merrifield and the difference was night and day. The whole TM team was consistently excellent on communication, team members showing the home were knowledgeable, feedback was prompt and informative, and Jon provided both regular market updates as well specific activity updates on our home throughout the process. We had two agreed offers back out before third time lucky, but Jon and the team remained as engaged, energetic and communicative as from day one. The office also communicate and work well as a team, leaving no gaps during absences . . there was never a lull or knowledge gap because someone was away. True professionals who actually work hard to find buyers, market and show the home well. Many others will promise the world and deliver little. Best estate agent experience we have ever had. Highly recommend.

GoogleThomas Merrifield staff were very attentive at the point we were exploring potential estate agents, however once they had been instructed to sell our house communication was minimal. The house sold quickly following a viewing we facilitated. Staff appeared reluctant to negotiate/communicate with the buyers on our behalf. The experience wasn’t as positive as we had experienced previously with other estate agents.

GoogleI would highly recommend Thomas Merrifield. We mainly delt with Graeme Pierce who's knowledge and experience in selling and buying property was fantastic, he made the whole experience less stressful and always kept us up to date with any developments with our sale and purchase. We were blown away with how many viewings we had booked in on our property within a few days of us going on the market! Clint, Lisa, Julian and Jo were also great when showing us around potential properties and taking our phone calls, everyone in the team were so kind and patient with us.
