From the outset, we have been lied to, misled, told half truths and experienced a lot of backpedaling. After unnecessary delays, we are finally in a house with over 200 “snags” many of which would have been easily avoidable. After a month of being in the house we have had about 3 snags rectified successfully. A further 2 made matters worse. I have had 3 full days wasted due to people not turning up for appointments and their attitude is very much. Not our problem. 2 months in the house and we still have 120 snags outstanding. Update. 8 months in and we still have around 70 defects. We are currently reporting additional ones at a rate faster than they are fixing them. When they do come to fix them, their work is often appalling.

Inconsiderate builders, dust, crack of dawn starts, numerous lorries and foul language. Not to mention the reports of subsidence and having to stop building whilst foundation issues were looked at.

All your road closures have really been welcome. And the new houses are obviously going to be better than the lovely woodland area that used to be there. Something tells me there's going to be more flooding in this area when it's finished.
