GoogleThe sales office is highly professional, but the problems start the moment you move in. Despite being new builds, the properties have numerous defects, some showing shockingly poor construction quality. The customer service team responds at an extremely slow pace, when they respond at all. Emails and texts often go unanswered for weeks unless you constantly chase them. Even simple issues take months to resolve, and poor coordination leads to repeated missed appointments and last‑minute cancellations that waste residents’ time.
There’s no accountability for the ongoing inconvenience, and the company hides behind the warranty period while reacting so slowly that many people end up handling repairs themselves.
You expect better from an award‑winning developer, but the experience falls far short. I moved into a new build four months ago, and most residents have been dealing with the same issues for months. I wouldn’t recommend it.

GoogleIssues with my garden 6 emails no response. Roads not finished I have been in my home 2 years with not date to when they will be done.
People on the estate have been here a lot longer and had no joy getting them to finish the roads.
I have made complaints with no response.
The roads are that bad they are now dangerous with my wife tripping on a raised man hole, due to no footpaths or lighting.
Avoid buying with this company.
Would rate zero if I could.
17/12/25 update roads now done but issues now with the drainage on the estate smelling and peoples houses smelling, roads still not adopted I have been here 5 years now and people on the estate 10 years, still no play area. Compensation is needed for everyone who was miss sold on this estate. Joke of a company.

It's not worth your time or money, hard earned money that you (and a partner) would have saved. Take that money and buy another house. New builds are always hard, but Taylor Wimpey make it even harder, super stressful and leave you in the unknown. we are still waiting on many snags/defects to be completed from april, which was our move in day. we are still waiting on emails from weeks ago.
We sent off a 66 page complaint. mainly pictures, so more like 5 page complaint to the managers and customer service and have heard nothing at all regarding sed email.
THEY DO NOT CARE!!
Day one;
- oven wasn't piped up, so didn't work
- dishwasher had wrong plug so didn't work
- heating didn't work, boiler needed fixing
- extras we paid for wasn't fitted, towel rad, extra plug in kitchen
- carpet hanging out
- nails sticking out of fences
- fag butts in the loft
- path not steam rolled correctly leaving stoney holes
- poor finishes
- paint all over house was poor
- outside wall out of level
- street lights not on for 6-7 months, so pitch black and unsafe
- bath tub was cut so short from the wall
- and so may more. i will put some pictures up to help
since then we have had so many other problems
- flooring unlevel
- upstairs toilet leaked THREE TIMES IN 6 MONTHS!
- cladding is a joke and blotchy
- and so many more, a list of 45+ snags still ongoing for a few final big snags.
We have had the worst customer service. they do not want to help, only ignore or try refund you for extras you paid for. why would i buy them before to start with then? and then make a fuss of fitting the extras they missed.
NOT HELPFUL AT ALL

HONESTLY STAY AWAY, SAVE YOUR MONEY!
The sales team were the only ones to get things done for us. and that's not even their job! only silver lining to living here.

GoogleThe good:
The customer service team are generally helpful, and the sales process itself was smooth and straightforward.
The bad:
Unfortunately, the quality of the house is very poor. We have ongoing issues with doors that should never have been a problem in a new build. The air source heat pump is extremely expensive to run, which was not made clear upfront.
The kitchen is very poor quality, as is the flooring throughout the house. Both feel cheap and poorly finished. Landscaping is also disappointing and not to a good standard.
A major frustration is that nothing seems to get fixed unless you constantly complain and chase, which is exhausting and time-consuming.
Overall:
Honestly, this house is not worth the hard-earned money we paid for it. Based on our experience, I would not buy another Taylor Wimpey home and would not recommend them.

GoogleCan’t speak highly enough of the team here. The sales team were lovely and put up with my many visits just to come and look at the show homes as I was waiting for mine to be built.
The site is well managed and I’ve been really happy with the build quality and finish. You’ll see many posts about how the site team matters in a development and this is an example of where it shows. You can tell the site team care about the quality of the homes they are handing over. I had minimal snags and a professional snagger commented that he was impressed with build quality and finish and some of the attention to detail which he sees lacking in some developments.
Aftercare during the first 8 weeks has been fab. All snagging completed promptly with no fuss and the team were professional and did a great job
The development is super friendly and I think more thought has been put into it than many others I’ve seen. There is generally plenty of parking with pretty and houses are not all on top of each other like some developments I’ve seen.
The location is great with Reculver and the sea within walking distance and a local gp surgery a 10 minute walk away.
Really happy to have bought here! Love my house. ❤️
