Don't use their easy mover scheme! If your sale falls through, they are not going to help you!!! We reserved a plot at TW Pentland Green. TW arranged the remover company to store some of our belongings in storage. We had signed a rental agreement for a flat while waiting for our 'new' house to be ready. The sale of our old house fell through the day of contract exchange. TW manager was OOO on that day and we couldn't get hold of anyone in TW to postpone the remover company. In the end, we had to pay the estate agent, house remover and storage fees ourselves. We donated all our furniture that was in storage as we couldn't afford the storage fees as we didn't know when our old house would be sold. When we finally sold our house and went back to TW to buy the same plot, they INCREASED the house price by £15,000 the night before our appointment to pay the deposit!

I’ve never been asked to comment on housing estate before. What I like about this area is so easy to get to on the motorways houses well spaced out and have plenty of gardens. Still in develop so all the roads aren’t finished yet but that’s not a problem. Also, the good news is that a big Tesco just down the road

Currently living in a mess of a site. Been living at Taylor Wimpey kings moat site for 2 years. The team you are buying from is awful. My shower is leaking into the downstairs since November but Taylor Wimpey have been 6 times and still not fixed it. The bin storage has been fly tipped in every week because Taylor Wimpey don't know how to make a door which will stay closed. Fly tipping isnt their fault but the preventative measures have not been put in to stop it. Every tree they planted died within a few months. Yet to get a sign to say which house number I live in. Customer service will promise a call back but then never do. The customer service team will try their best to help you with your issues but I don't think they are getting the support needed to effectively help. If I was thinking about buying a new build from Taylor Wimpey I wouldn't. Just ask anyone on the site and they will tell you an issue with the site. A lot of people have had their property flooded. Search "kings moat flooding" and you will see the issues.

Elaine (TW sales rep) from the Castle Gate TW office was fantastic in sorting out the reservation and sales process (10/10). New House-> Completed on the 01st April 2023 Review date--> 29/04/2023 Unfortunately, when I received the house keys, I was shocked by the state of the house: many defects and missing items. The subfloor has lots of cracks, and cement is coming off (very loose). I brought two flooring contractors to inspect the house for Amitco flooring. Both contractors have refused to work on the house as they were concerned that because of the elevated cracks and loose cement, they could not put Amtico flooring on top of this as it would bulge and become loose due to unstable subfloor cement. I contacted TW (Lynsey and David-Site manager) multiple times, but they are refusing to repair this and stating they are not liable for it. Unfortunately, I had to take this to my solicitor and NHSBC standards to report these structural defects and start a legal process against TW.NegativeQuality, Value

This site is going to be a superb well ran site in all my years of working with different building companies I have never worked on a site that is so well ran and so tidy total credit to Lee and Andy great place extremely tidy well ran what a place its going to be to live I think I would move here.
