GoogleI recently reserved a home at Cherrywood Gardens through Taylor Wimpey, and I wanted to highlight the excellent customer service I received throughout the process. Ms. Kiran was incredibly helpful, patient, and supportive from the initial enquiry stage all the way to the reservation. She took the time to answer all our questions thoroughly and made the experience smooth and stress-free. Her professionalism and approachable manner truly made a difference. Thank you, Taylor Wimpey, and a special thanks to Ms. Kiran!

Google⚠️ Widespread Insect Infestation, No Action from Taylor Wimpey
As a resident at the [The Asps] development in Warwick, We’ve been experiencing a serious insect infestation around and inside the property. These insects appear to be biting parasites such as fleas or thrips, and the issue is not limited to a single home, it seems to be affecting many houses across the site.
Despite multiple complaints, Taylor Wimpey has not arranged any pest control or site-wide treatment, and the infestation continues to worsen. There has been no investigation into the root cause, even though it’s clear the problem stems from external areas of the development.
This is especially concerning for vulnerable residents, including pregnant individuals, as there is a real health risk due to the bites and possible parasite exposure.
In addition, the Aftercare service has been extremely slow and unresponsive. For example, a simple toilet flush leak took 7 weeks to be resolved, during which the toilet was completely unusable. This level of delay is unacceptable and not what you’d expect from a new build home.
If you’re considering moving into this area, I strongly recommend asking detailed questions about pest control, site maintenance, and aftercare support.

GoogleThere are issues with the boundaries on this estate, their reasoning is it's due to the plans not accounting for widths of retaining walls and causing an "ongoing" effect. So it's not just my property with issues. What's worse is I had already pointed out a boundary issue prior to completion and they sold the house to me with reassurance that the boundary was fixed. They moved the fenceline but I discovered it was still wrong and now they refuse to fix it to the TP1. To add on, they surveyed the boundary and told me only the garden was affected. I disputed this and a 2nd survey was done and they concluded yet again no further discrepancies. I disputed yet again with physical evidence and then they conducted a 3rd survey which finally proved I was right. They now refuse to fix it to plans and only offer minimal compensation. Also discovered in order for them to move my fenceline out, they buried a manhole under that fenceline. I only discovered that by chance due to pressing to view the drainage plans which they initially refused to send to me.

GoogleI have had nothing but issues. Not only is nothing within tolerance, but TW vehemently refuse to fix anything.
Day one I had a flood because the plumbing wasn’t done correctly, which ruined my kitchen cabinets.
My entire property vibrates from the slightest movement from neighbours or outside, it shakes my toilet and bath and windows. It is thermally inefficient. Impossible to warm up in winter, and impossible to cool down in summer. Not to mention, whenever I raise issues, I get told I’m crazy and that it’s all compliant.
Oh, and now my ceiling is bowing and it looks like it’s about to cave in on me! They are lucky I can’t add videos.
My local district councillor has raised concerns, and has been ignored also, and so has the MP. The properties are not fit for habitation. Stay FAR AWAY from them

GoogleDon't buy here. Massive regret. The quality of work is poor, the building already looks like it's been in operation for five-ten years, and it's not being properly cleaned. The lifts are appalling, and deliveries are scattered all over the place downstairs with no security. Residents let their dogs pee in the courtyard and treat the place poorly. Everything seems to be built cheaply - sinks are tiny, there's no storage in the bathrooms, the internet is expensive (you can't just sign up with any provider), and Metropolitan, who are in charge of heating, is also expensive. Even in these summer months, our minimum bill is over £50. And you have to pay a service charge for the public square, we’ve been paying for it for almost 12 months, even though it only opened a couple of days ago. It’s a space we can’t even protect from damage/vandalism as it's public.

GoogleGreat experience during the buying process with Taylor Wimpey but after sales has been quite frustrating to deal with. You have to fight to get anything done, it feels like once you complete on your property the builder moves on and gives up on their responsibility…considering how much we have to pay for properties these days builders need to do more to improve the after sales experience.

GoogleSerious structural issues and poor customer care, our third and final Taylor Wimpey home.
We’ve owned three Taylor Wimpey homes, and after this experience, it will 100% be our last.
We’ve been dealing with a major structural fault in our garage for over 7 months, with no clear resolution or accountability. The garage is visibly wonky from the groundwork up, it’s clearly noticeable from the road, and we’ve been told it’s more than 10x over the acceptable tolerance, yet somehow it was still signed off by NHBC. That in itself raises huge concerns around build quality and inspection processes.
Now, Taylor Wimpey has confirmed they will rebuild the entire garage, yet bizarrely, we’ve also been told the issue "doesn’t even warrant a rebuild." That contradiction says everything about the lack of responsibility we've experienced.
This situation has completely derailed our plans to convert the garage and carry out garden works, and it’s caused months of disruption to our family life. Communication has been poor throughout, we’ve been fobbed off, left in the dark, and passed from one person to the next with no clear answers and no ownership of the problem.
On top of the structural issue, we've had hundreds of snags in the property. Some individuals, like Johnathan in the sales office and Kelly, have been genuinely helpful, and we appreciate their support. But overall, the customer care has been slow, dismissive, and completely inadequate for a national housebuilder.
We still can’t get a clear answer on key details like rebuild quality, access, dust control, or disruption. We’re left feeling ignored, and completely let down.
We can’t seem to get anywhere, and at this point we will be taking further action. Taylor Wimpey should be doing far more to take accountability and support their customers when things go this badly wrong.
