In May 2021, we went to view the Persimmon show house, this was our first property viewing and we did not have serious plans to purchase a house.. the decision was made immediately and we moved in at the end of October 2021. We were 1st time buyers (two bedroom house) and the whole experience was incredibly smooth, quick and easy. We received a £10,000 Early Bird offer on finishing touches. We could customize our new home and use part of the sum to cover the Solicitor's charges. Persimmon staff have been professional and friendly. Getting through to the office by phone wasn't always easy, but updates were prompt and the site office staff were very helpful and Kev has been so great! Kev has been looking after us since day one and always goes the extra mile to make sure we are happy in our new home. He deals with any issues pretty much immediately and he is always happy to share his know-how and give us professional advice on 'how to attach a TV on a wall', 'How to chose and install stairs to the attic' etc. .. we are so grateful for him! :) We love our new house and we would highly recommend to purchase property here. Also the position of the development is perfect for as, now we can avoid majority of the busy roundabouts in central Salisbury.

Avoid at all costs!!!! This is my umpteenth home.. I bought new build thinking I'd need do nothing myself and people to help with warranty. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! 5 months in persimmons themselves on camera agreed my kitchen is "not fit for purpose". Dealing with the rudest slamming phone down as she's no response Carmen-Barr their defects manager. It's awful. I'm literally living on a building site, though I was told I'd move in phase by phase.. best one is!! I reported a sparking socketed 4 weeks ago.. reminded Carmen (who only answers emails she likes..) two weeks ago and still no electrician. Their service dept doesn't respond to emails, Thier contractors don'ts respond after first response. And even when I've gone outside my door (the building site I was contractually forced to move into) the builders are complaining of persimmons expectations also!!! The house was disgusting filthy on exchange, they did NOT CARE as they had people in tears in the office, and the sales lady Jane was locking other unhappy customers out of the office!! Living on the building site after nearly 6 months here.. I've an unfunctionable kitchen. Bedroom that doesn't fit a single standard bedframe. A master suit where door can't be opened as beds in the way (only place it can go). And can NOT open windows on any weather as house fills with mud/dust/ flies from them buildingt neighbors houses all around. Fyi- the directors of the company do not respond as do any of the lower management. Once they your deposit, they don't care! Claire area manage no response. Mark contract manager (one on camera) no response. Carmen.... Onsite staff speak enough of her incompetence! Literally a living hel!!! DO NOT BUY !!! PERSIMMONS DO NOT CARE

We completed on a new property at Malvern Rise after a wait of 10 months build time. Here and now I can say “Forget the negative press Persimmon seem to be haunted by” This development is fantastic, everyone from the sales department to the site department are brilliant. We had a professional snagger and he was very impressed with the quality of build and finish, as was our flooring company. The development itself is beautifully positioned and cleverly arranged, wide road ways and ample space for parking, no two houses are the same which is a far departure from the blueprint new builds of recent times. Like I said this development ticks all the right boxes and if you’re considering going for one I’d say “you have nothing to worry about

Just purchased a new home here at Swan Park. It's the first time we have lived on a building site but the men are very respectful of our presence. We have our own parking and garage and the rooms are painted white throughout. It's very strange for us to have everything done for us but it's nice. I really have nothing but praise for the builders, but I guess I am in the honeymoon period as we have only been here a week or so. I would recommend the process of buying new. No one has been here or used the facilities before. That's a treat.

Its early doors yet but seems like cost cutting effects the general appearance of an estate especially over time. Definitely not a reflection of the builders who work their pan in.

Terrible experience for people moving into there new property had to wait till 12 midday for the keys to be handed over so obviously the property was signed off, however we arrived with the furniture only to find no carpets had been laid as per the instructions. This left a very unsavoury feeling which will quickly be resolved
