GoogleReview of Property Management Agent: Nicky Scales A heartfelt thank you for outstanding support and professionalism We have recently experienced an incredibly stressful period as landlords, spanning the last six months. Unfortunately, our tenant failed to pay rent, which led us to instruct solicitors to resolve the matter. Although the tenant has now vacated the property, they left the house in a truly appalling condition, one which was deeply distressing to deal with. Throughout this entire ordeal, our property management agent, Nicky Scales, has been nothing short of wonderful. Navigating the complexities of property law and tenant disputes can be overwhelming, but Nicky’s guidance made all the difference. She was always professional, patient, and exceptionally kind, gently leading us through every step and ensuring we felt supported and understood. Nicky’s expertise and dedication have been invaluable. She handled each challenge with remarkable composure and empathy, providing clear advice and reassurance when we needed it most. Her communication was prompt and thorough, making a daunting process far more manageable. We are truly grateful for her hard work and unwavering commitment to us. We wholeheartedly recommend Nicky Scales to anyone seeking a trustworthy and compassionate property management agent. GoogleVery poor service. They rented me a house with broken furniture and the new furniture provided was of very low quality. No curtains provided even though curtains were visible on photos shown. No Microwave provided even though rented as furnished. Carpet in the room was never professionally cleaned before we moved in. Dirt kept falling from chimney inside the living room and nothing was done about it for a year even though the issue was reported a few times. Hot water in the shower was also a problem which was never fully resolved.

GoogleMy husband used the Crossgates branch initially to sell his home and following the amazing service we had it was a no brainer to use them to sell my property the whole team have been amazing and can’t thank them enough. Special shout out to Jacob who was brilliant with us both he was professional yet personable and made the start of both processes so easy he was beyond helpful with advice and support. We hopefully won’t need to sell a house again for a while but wouldn’t hesitate to go through manning Stainton again.

GoogleOnly dealt with the Beeston branch 6 times and most of the time, I was palmed off. 1. I had a call to get booked with for a property in the LS10 area. I got booked in for it but When I asked about another property I was interested in, the woman on the phone said the owners already had offers and wasn’t open to any more viewings. I was gutted but moved on but only to find an hour later to get another call to get booked in for a viewing for that very property, so I was confused. Turned out it was the Pudsey branch that deal with LS13, so the first woman from the Beeston branch lied to me on the phone. Marvellous. 2. When I went to visit the LS10 property, I liked it and the man who showed us round was lovely. However, when I went to get booked in and see the property the second time, it turned out the estate agent, Lucy triple booked us with two other families. I wasn’t aware, so this was very off putting, especially when the estate agent was late and I had to ring head office to check I had the right time and if the viewing was still going ahead. When Lucy showed us around, she left us all to wonder, so minimum effort was put into actually showing us around. She could also barely answer any questions people had and gave me vague answers. I asked about the mould and damp of the house, to which she didn’t even know about but asked if owners would repair this. She didn’t even give an answer. 3. Lucy rang the next day to ask for feedback. I warned her off the red flags I thought throughout the property but gave an offer, to which she said was too low but she would put it on file for the future, meaning she wasn’t going to speak to the owners about it because it was so “low”. I quickly fired back to say if the owners sort out the damp, mould and replaced the broken window/s, I would more likely to offer the asking price but yet again, she gave the impression that she wasn’t even going to speak to the owners. So fair play, I’ll highly likely not use this branch and hope I don’t have any more dealings with them nor will I hope they taint the other Manning Staintons if staff are not so friendly and behave like this. It’s probably a blessing in disguise.
