Having experienced a few different agents to varying degrees whilst trying to buy (had a few goes at it...) I can say confidently that Manning Stainton is head and shoulders the best (we didnt even complete with them). Interacted with a lot of staff over time and they were consistently helpful and didnt drop the ball (!!) Extra thanks to Kyle G, and also to Remi B who just delivered some excellent customer service and really upheld the company image.

I honestly can’t recommend Macy enough! She was absolutely brilliant from start to finish and went above and beyond to make the whole experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. She was professional, helpful, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about their customers the way Macy does. She was fantastic throughout, and I couldn’t have asked for better service. The whole team are super lovely and helpful. Macy was the one dealing with our case but whenever she wasn’t in someone would quite happily take over and give me an update. I would 100% recommend Manning Stainton to anyone looking for an estate agent. We sold our house through them. I certainly won’t be going anywhere else or dealing with anyone else in the future. Yvonne helped us navigate a complex process in purchasing our new home. Yvonne was always available, always reasonable and I felt she had a very well balanced approach to plotting a route through some tough conversations. This was especially evident when the buyers of our house withdrew from the process which put pressure on the chain. Yvonne reassured the vendors on our behalf while we founds new buyers, and we managed to get the sale completed. Thanks Yvonne for all your hard work and support.

Good experience

Really good experience with Manning Stainton. Lauren was very helpful throughout the process and kept me up-to-date as well as chasing up with various solicitors, as were the people who filled in for her when she was away. The only slight negative is if I used them again, I probably wouldn't go with the solicitors they recommended, who weren't terrible but weren't great either. The bag of useful moving-in things when I collected keys were a nice touch.

Poor management

I rented a house with manning stainton being the letting agent and it was all around poor service. There was no management of the building, limited repairs even though I reported everything. They allowed me to live in a house with foul water flooding the basement and leaving it stagnant for over a year and then told me they werent aware of the issue prior to me taking the tenancy. I would NOT recommend this letting agent for your rentals or for your new homes.

I needed a new place, preferably in Leeds, to continue with my treatment for major illness. I needed a place urgently. I phoned up Manning Stainton to enquire about a property they advertised on Rightmove. I spoke with Madeline. She listened to my predicament and then, very quickly arranged for me to attend a viewing the next day. She also assured me that if I liked the property, she'd be able to quickly submit my application. Madeline is a credit to her profession and her company.

Ellie is the main reason

Ellie is the main reason, had lots of ups and downs and stress during a prolonged sale and purchase. However, ellie was a friendly supportive voice at the end of the phone or an email constantly reassuring me throughout absolute superstar and a credit to your company. Thanks for all you did and sorry for being such a pain with my constant questions lol. Also the move managers gemma and rochelle were equally as supportive, overall an excellent experience after an absolute nightmare with a competitor "high street" estate agent who were previously assigned for my sale. Ellie gemma and rochelle handled the purchase side of things brilliantly restoring some faith if I ever decided to sell again.

A huge thank you to Gemma and Rochelle for the outstanding support they gave my two sisters and me throughout the sale of our late mum's property. The process took almost 12 months and was far from straightforward, with unexpected issues, including an adverse possession claim and delays that meant the buyer had to remortgage. Throughout it all, Gemma and Rochelle were professional, caring, and incredibly supportive. They kept us informed throughout, reassured us whenever we felt anxious, and were always happy to speak to the solicitor or buyer on our behalf to answer any questions. Their kindness, patience, excellent communication (and humour which we all needed throughout) made a very stressful and emotional time so much easier to get through. 5* from start to finish. Emma was very professional, friendly and honest during the valuation and gave great advice without being pushy. Habib managed to coordinate what felt like thousands of viewings during the opening weekend (it was actually 15) and negotiate offers clearly, politely and very effectively. And during the sale progress, Gemma - and particularly Rochelle - gave me regular updates, checked in and were so friendly, knowledgeable and proactive that it put my solicitors to shame. Without the sales progression team, the sale would not have proceeded so quickly or painlessly and I can’t thank them enough for their good humour and support during it all in what was quite a stressful and somewhat emotional time. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
