GoogleI’m currently buying my first home through this agency, and so far, my experience has been great. Communication has been excellent, and the staff are friendly, approachable, and always happy to help with any questions or concerns throughout the buying process. GoogleWe had the most fantastic experience house hunting with Izzy Denton. She had an incredible level of patience and empathy, understanding our needs and looking after us every step of the way. GoogleFantastic service from start to finish. Lesley came to take the photographs and Evie completed the floorplan, and both were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They arrived exactly on time and were extremely professional, courteous and friendly throughout. Both were clearly very knowledgeable and took real care and attention with what they were doing, while also making the whole process feel relaxed and easy. Lesley was meticulous with the photographs, taking the time to make sure everything was presented at its best, and Evie was equally thorough and professional when completing the floorplan. It’s refreshing to receive such genuinely friendly, professional service. They are both a real credit to the company and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Thank you, Lesley and Evie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

She kept us informed every step of the way, including arranging viewings, providing feedback from potential buyers and keeping us updated on offers. Alexandra was always friendly, professional and easy to deal with, and we felt that we were kept fully informed throughout. GoogleI honestly can’t recommend Macy enough! She was absolutely brilliant from start to finish and went above and beyond to make the whole experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. She was professional, helpful, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about their customers the way Macy does. She was fantastic throughout, and I couldn’t have asked for better service. The whole team are super lovely and helpful. Macy was the one dealing with our case but whenever she wasn’t in someone would quite happily take over and give me an update. I would 100% recommend Manning Stainton to anyone looking for an estate agent. We sold our house through them. I certainly won’t be going anywhere else or dealing with anyone else in the future. GoogleHaving experienced a few different agents to varying degrees whilst trying to buy (had a few goes at it...) I can say confidently that Manning Stainton is head and shoulders the best (we didnt even complete with them). Interacted with a lot of staff over time and they were consistently helpful and didnt drop the ball (!!) Extra thanks to Kyle G, and also to Remi B who just delivered some excellent customer service and really upheld the company image.

GoogleDealt with the sale of my property, originally met with the branch manager James who was a pleasure to meet, got my property ready to put on the market and with a good strategy to sell, which was ultimately successful. Also Lisa & Emily (and others I’m likely forgetting) were great throughout, did viewings on my behalf, when I couldn’t do them for work reasons, and also helped to pass messages onto the eventual buyers, which was a massive help! Then once it was sold, mainly dealt with Claire & Joanne as my Move Managers. They worked effortlessly in the background with absolutely no input needed from me, only reaching out for necessary questions or info only I could answer. They constantly kept my solicitors up to date & gave me weekly updates from their side via email or phone, even if there was nothing new they still reached out just to clarify where we we at and what they were to do next. Couldn’t ask for more really and made the sale part of my move really painless!

GoogleRecently sold my property through Manning Stainton Adel and the experience was excellent from start-to-finish. We needed to move quickly, and Matthew came out at incredibly short notice (and outside of office hours) to do a valuation, which was very much appreciated. Bel then handled our sale and was great throughout: proactive, organised, and always willing to jump on a call and talk things through.

GoogleVery misleading company they have a company called good lord who do the credit checks on you please avoid this company or both took £200 pound off me has deposit never got it beck they keep hounding you with unnecessary questions it’s a nitemare and shocking for this day an she !!!

We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience. However, we feel it is important to clarify the process for the benefit of anyone reading this review. Before taking a holding deposit, we explain the referencing process and the circumstances in which a holding deposit may be retained. Applicants are also provided with written terms which clearly set out these circumstances and confirm that the holding deposit may be retained where an applicant fails referencing for reasons covered by the agreed terms, this includes providing inaccurate or misleading information, failing a landlord reference or credit check, or if you withdraw from the proposed tenancy. In this instance, information came to light during the referencing process which had not been declared on your application form. This resulted in the referencing requirements not being met and the application therefore receiving a fail. Had this information been declared on the application form at the outset, we would have been aware that the referencing criteria were extremely unlikely to be met and would have advised you of this. You had signed documentation confirming that you understood the referencing requirements and the circumstances in which the holding deposit could be retained. The referencing itself is carried out by an independent third-party referencing provider. The checks and any requests for further information are a necessary part of verifying an applicant’s circumstances and ensuring that the information supplied is accurate. We appreciate that being unsuccessful at referencing is disappointing, but we have followed our established process consistently and in accordance with the applicable legislation. The holding deposit was therefore retained in accordance with the terms explained and agreed to before the application proceeded.

GoogleExcellent service from South Leeds Lettings and Dylan Sagar! We moved into our new home on July 1st, 2026, and we couldn't be happier with the service provided by Manning Stainton, especially Dylan Sagar from the South Leeds Lettings office. The application process was extremely fast and smooth once all the required documents were submitted. After submitting our application to the landlord, everything went very quickly and we received the keys about 10, 11 days later. The agency was absolutely perfect throughout the entire procedure. On top of that, our landlord is really kind and responsive: when we mentioned an issue with the oven shortly after moving in, he had it completely replaced with a brand new one within just one to two weeks! We highly recommend South Leeds Lettings and Dylan Sagar to anyone looking for a rental home. Thank you again for all your help!
