I’ve recently bought a property through Manning Stainton Wortley and I couldn’t have received better service! From start to finish they were unbelievable. Lesley is a fabulous move manager!! Manning Stainton were fantastic at helping us sell our house! They understood our need to move quickly and got it on the market within a couple of days of us first contacting them. When our first buyers pulled out they took the time to contact all previously interested prospective buyers to let them know it was back on the market again so we were able to repair the chain quickly. My only negative comment is it was difficult to get in contact with anyone at the branch during a week or two in the summer holidays as they were understaffed due to leave. It took a day or two to get in contact with the right person at times but it didn’t hold things up too much.

We recently sold our property through Manning Stainton Wortley and our experience was brilliant. Alex was looking after our sale and our experience with her was absolutely first class. We had a lot of issues with our chain but Alex was calm, reassuring and understanding. She really put us at ease and helped explained things we weren’t sure about. She also went the extra mile and followed through with the whole chain to understand the different issues at each level and kept us updated with clear information on at least a weekly basis (turned to daily towards the end). Our whole end to end process of selling and moving into our new home took over 7 months and without Alex I think we might have pulled the plug and cancelled the process. My experience was very different to everyone else which has left a review which I don’t understand I went with manning stainton as I was really impressed with the guy who came to do the valuation, Callum, he seemed lovely and also honest. He quoted me a lot more than other companies had and said that was because they provided a very good service and I would be able to tell that was why it was more expensive. Don’t waste your money, you still have to call them relentlessly for feedback. The lady dealing with us once we had a buyer was ok, but never there when I needed her as the sale was full of problems. The only good thing about it was the sale fell through (not their fault) so I didn’t have to pay them anything My advice is you have to chase them regardless so you might as well find a cheaper estate again and chase them and save some money!

By far the best estate agents I've dealt with in all of my renting experiences. Melissa was my property manager throughout my tenancy and she was amazing. She was always happy to answer any queries I had and always responded promptly to maintenance issues, which were always dealt with very quickly. There was an instance with an unreliable contractor but Melissa arranged for someone else to do the job instead and everything was resolved very quickly from there. I would highly recommend renting a flat through Manning. Even after giving notice to end my tenancy, Melissa sent me a check-out form with a moving checklist that was incredibly useful, making my moving experience that much easier. I was pleasantly surprised by that. I had such a positive experience and wouldn't hesitate to use Manning Stainton again if I moved back to Leeds. 😊

I purchased my first property with the team at manning stainton and couldn’t fault the service. From putting my offer in the team were quick to respond on and keep me up to date. I wasn’t sure what to expect along the way but found that no matter the question the team were professional and responsive. Special mention to Codie Hazelwood who kept me up to date with things no matter how big or small. I don’t always have access to my phone due to where I work but she made an effort to drop me an email so I didn’t feel I missed anything. The team have a mortgage adviser to link in with and Callum was great and supportive. I think I had a suprisingly quick completion and the little touch of a home completion box was such a lovely touch! Thank you team manning stainton. :-)
