GoogleVery happy with my experience of buying a house through Manning Stainton so far. Victoria Alexander has been incredibly helpful, in fact I would not have offered on the property if it hadn't been for her. She identified a house that was exactly what I was looking for and arranged for me to view after a viewing I already had booked in. There have been no major issues yet and I have received a high level of good communication from the whole team.

Horrific experience in trying to purchase a property. Not only were they rude through out the process, we also believe they were lying to us at the same time. On two different occasions, on two different properties they lied to drive the price up. Would be better if they didn't employ arrogant and rude people, when buyers are just simply and honestly trying to purchase a house. Not very professional, therefore I would recommend harsity and Co when selling a house, who are professional and considerate of both parties.

GoogleWe decided to use Manning Stainton to not only sell our house but to purchase our next. From start to finish their service has been amazing. The endeavoured to get our property on the market as quickly as they possibly could and arrange the photos and EPC to be done within the day. Selling our home with Victoria Alexander was easy. She came to view the property so that she could use her knowledge of it to help sell it, which she did. She has been easy to contact, reliable and honest as she guided us through the process to get us the best offer we could from our buyer. We can’t thank her enough! We saw our next house up for sale with Manning and Debbie Cundill has been brilliant at showing us around the property - multiple times as well as with family! Nothing has been too much trouble for her, and she has always answered phone calls and emails as fast as she possibly can, working efficiently with both us and the seller. We’re very excited to complete on selling and buying our new home and it wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of Vicky and Debbie. Thank you!

GoogleI have been in contact with Manning Stainton in Headingley since February 2019. I have spoken to or now met in person with Jenny, Lucy, Victoria, Evelyn, Laura, Samira and Amy. I am not local to Leeds and I can only praise these ladies for the support and consistent service they have provided in assisting me with my property search and viewings (which aren't easy to co-ordinate when you are not in the area daily), and making my relocation less stressful. Jenny and Amy have been especially helpful and highly professional. They are a hard working team and I would have no hesitation in using their services in the future for both letting and selling. 'Big Up' to the Girls - Great Work!!

GoogleThank you to the team. Debbie C guided us through kindly, patiently and effectively. It was a tricky sale in a very tricky time - lockdown! I received excellent communication throughout and Debbie always was a friendly voice on the end of the line. Jobs were done immediately by Debbie and I trusted her the whole way. Thank you! An excellent team though and it is clear everyone works together to get the job done.I fully recommend.

GoogleTake your deposit and do not return it. They do everything to delay and complicate the rental of a property.

GoogleSTOP putting your flyers through my N15 postcode letterbox, and leaving them half hanging out!!!! (I have a sign clearly stating ‘No junk mail’) Thus letting all my heating out and and giving thieves the green light there is no one at home. If this happens again I shall put something unwanted through your door!

I contacted Manning Stainton (Moortown, North Leeds branch) about a property I wanted to let with my partner. As it was just after lockdown I was told that they were not doing viewings in person unless they had uploaded a video viewing for the property. I found this strange so I called again and spoke to someone different. That person informed me that I could view the property in person if I was happy to based on the photos and didn't have to wait for a video of the property to go online. From the beginning I said we needed to move for our current property by a certain date and that we were looking for a 6 months tenancy. I was told that was fine. They took my details and before a viewing could be arranged, my partner and I had to complete an online application to see if we were suitable applicants. If the landlord was happy with the application then we would be able to view the property. They application for the landlord when trough and a viewing was arranged. When I went to view the property the lady would was there was very friendly, however, she did not adhere to the social distancing rules. The day after the viewing I contacted Manning Stainton to say we wanted to take the property. I was told that there would be another application to the landlord to see if he would still be happy for us to become his tenants. I found this a little strange as it sounded like they would checking the same thing twice. A couple of days passed and I didn't heard anything so I called them, the person dealing with account wasn't available but did call me back. When I spoke to him he said the landlord wanted time to think about whether he was happy to take a 6 months tenancy rather than a 12 month one. As we had a limited amount of time to move, this made things very stressing and I again mentioned we had to move by a certain date because of our circumstances. I was then told that the date we needed to move by wasn't possible because of the turn around time. At this point the situation was made even more stressful for us. The person I was dealing with at all apologetic and just said he wasn't sure would had told me that. I ask if we could be contacted as soon as the landlord had made a discussion, five days later and still no contact. I would also like to add that the person I put down for them/the landlord to contact for a reference said they were not contacted so I could have put any details for that part. I honestly feel let down by their services and will not be using them again. They should have in mind of future possible tenants when dealing with people as they have definitely lost a potential future tenant with me.I have asked them to remove all my details from their system, which I hope has been done.
