Very unhelpful;

I was one of the many people who suffer the impacts of the Covid outrage, after been made redundant twice I have started work trough the NHS working on secondment projects which makes it hard to rent as this is classed as a fixed term contract. I was asked to leave during the pandemic and force to sublet and for the last six months I have been looking for houses only to find the horrifying truth of the UK rental market, run down overprized properties, this means competition is pretty brutal right now as the few decent houses get taken pretty quickly. I have tried to view few houses with Manning Station however as they advise their landlords to not take guarantors it makes it almost impossible to find a house, apparently having a guarantor cost the house insurance rate to go up, something I have never heard before besides me using a guarantor in few occasions. I am really disappointing to find that besides all has happen you also have to suffer the unfairness of the the rental market. Shame on you guys

I would like to say I am trying to look for a property for my family. My family still in Hongkong, and we are willing to pay for the rental fee in advance but my family do not have a bank account in UK. The manager in Leeds just rejects my offer straight away. I do not see why they are rejecting me.

I would avoid this company at all…

I would avoid this company at all costs.I very rarely write reviews but I had no choice here. I am a landlord I own 1 property that I have worked very hard to rent out. We found a lovely couple to rent out our property who maintained the house very well. Manning Stainton were very close to losing our tenants.Extremely poor communication it's very hard to reach the building manager because people move around far too quickly. They entered the property without giving me or the tenants any notice.They lost keys, and after asking many times kept charging me insurance on our fee's.They have just been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I had no choice but to take the keys off them.

The worst agents in Leeds, Does not respond to emails, booking a viewing with them is such a waste of time. They make booking a viewing necessarily over complicated and difficult unlike other agencies who keep the process simple and straightforward. they ask you to fill forms after forms.. Ask you certain questions and say (we'll check with the landlord and get back to you).. LIARS!, they never get back to you. Some of their rental properties can remain their site and other sites zoopla despite being let agreed. Why mislead people for. Such incompetent and unreasonable fools!

Once our sale was agreed we had nothing but the best responsive service from Ildi at Fine and Country. Whilst on the flip side, many other companies were putting a huge amount of blame onto the current pandemic, Ildi - whether she thought it or not! - never quoted the pandemic as an excuse for anything. In fact she turned it on its head and put extra effort into absolutely everything.
