TrustpilotThe person buying a property is just as important as someone selling their property
I felt treated like someone on a conveyer belt, not important, like buying a pair of shoes online for 310k (over a quarter million). There was no meeting, no working relationship and no understanding of my needs. The price reduction was due to the home buyer survery, nothing to do with the property negotiator. They could have been more transparent about the electrical rewiring needed for the property adn also the gas situation to make it safe before moving in. The property was unclean. The oven, grill, extractor fan, pantry area, kitchen cupboards and draws were in a disgusting state. Estate Agents should set minimum standards selling properties where possible. The vendor should have paid to have the property professionally cleaned and I know this could have been done. This property was not in a 'moving in' condition when it could have easily been avoided. I would not recommend anyone doing business with MS.

I know that there were numerous calls that our team attempted to make that unfortunately went unanswered. In relation to the price adjustment agreed, we will always request a copy of the survey that you make reference to and we believed a new priced had been negotiated that all parties agreed to. We are also sorry to hear that the condition of the property was not what you had hoped for unfortunately the owner is responsible for the condition of the property at the point of the handover of the keys. We found South Leeds Lettings really supportive. We had Evie Longley helping us through the process of renting and she was very helpful and perhaps more patient with my questions than I might have been. On the occasion that Evie wasn't available, there was always someone there to help out or pass the message on and we heard back pretty quickly each time.So thank you Evie and everyone else who helped out, you made this daunting task of moving a lot easier for us!

Mannings helped me sell my late fathers house recently. The service we received from the team at Horsforth was really excellent and we would give a special mention of Macy McCormack who kept in regular communication right through the process, as well as liaising with the conveyancers and buyers for us. She was fantastic and I would no hesitation in recommending her to look after a sale. We will use Mannings for another property we expect to sell later this year. The team at Conveyancing Home recommended by Mannings were also excellent and highly efficient.

Excellent service from the Beeston, Leeds office. Dan the branch manager and his excellent team did a superb job of selling my house during a difficult market. Special mention to Julie and Zaini Miraj for their assistance with some difficulties that arose during the transaction. I'm not the easiest person to deal with following a head injury a few years ago but the team showed patience and understanding throughout. This is the 3rd house that the Manning Stainton, Beeston, Leeds team have sold for my family all with super results.

We used Manning to sell a property and were originally impressed with the offer. However from signing up with them things seemed to get worse. We were passed between a number of different workers. Whenever we called to speak to anyone or for an update, we were told we would get a call back but this was often an email response. We ended up chasing our solicitor for most things as we at least then got a direct response and action. From the minute we signed up I explained we were making the payment to them separately (i.e. not from the sale of my house) and asked that we be billed so. Today, I found out that we had in fact paid twice. They billed my solicitor and then when I called them directly to ask for an invoice, they sent me it with different ways to pay. We paid (not knowing this had already been done) and then I wasn't allowed to have my payment back to my account, instead it had to go back to my partner for him to return the money to me. All the while, they blamed my solicitor. Doesn't matter that nobody actually checked when I rang up to request the invoice. Shocking service from what promised to be a great team. I'm not planning of moving again anytime soon but would definitely look at alternative companies and won't be recommending.
