GoogleWe were told it would be difficult finding a flat to fit our needs within a short time frame. Within two weeks of viewing the flat we liked, we moved in and are extremely happy with the service. My assigned agent, Kay, was so helpful and replied to my queries right away, she even gave advice on where to put my son in school.

GoogleMy boyfriend and I were really pleased with Leaders. After having issues with some other agencies we were really surprised about their service and attitude toward their customers. The agent (Selwyn) was happy to help at any time; he was extremely polite, kind and professional. Would definitely recommend them!

GoogleNothing but praise for Leaders the entire team at leaders St Albans were really helpful from the start to finish but special mention must go to Norman Mead., who took the time to understand our requirements and looked after us from initially viewing to signing up for a tenancy with such little fuss in no time at all, just what you need during what can be a stressful experience! Special mention to Norman for being awesome! By far the best letting agency in St Albans. I have dealt with the lettings team who are all faultless in their efforts! professional, efficient and experienced lettings team, and breath of fresh air!! An excellent service all round, quick and concise. Leaders St Albans, very good from paperwork to the delivery of keys for the property. Overall an excellent experience with everyone at Leaders being a complete joy to work with. I would highly recommend LEADERS!!!

GoogleUsed leaders to rent a two bedroom flat last year, Dawn was our agent. I can honestly say that woman was uselss. she lost our first flat, even though we had put a deposit down, to another agency. so we had to settle for a different one in the same building. It has been over a year since we moved from that place and I still am having billing issues with EDF because Dawn never gave them our moving in readings, despite writting us a letter saying she had. Will never use leaders again. Horrible experience.
We are very sorry to read your comments, but feel in this instance the facts have become confused. Our negotiators do their best to hold a chosen property, but the final choice is with the owner. With regards to the property that you moved to, we act in an Introduction Only capacity for the owner. Dawn showed you the property, but, I am sure you will recall, was not present at your Check In. An Inventory Clerk was present with you, and took readings which were recorded on the Check In report that you signed and had a copy of. These readings were sent to Hallmark, our utility transfer company, on 3rd February 2014. The Landlords undertook their own check of the property at the end of the tenancy, and, as you know, you provided your own meter readings at departure. We have asked Hallmark to investigate this matter further for you and I hope a satisfactory resolution is reached

GoogleAs a landlord, I have been a customer with Dawn of Leaders for some seven years and 3 separate tenants. Dawn has always been great and has often gone 'above and beyond the call of duty'. If I wasn't 100% happy with the service, I wouldn't be using Leaders after seven years. And having read the review of Laura, I can only surmise that some people are professional complainers. That's the trouble with review sites; it's far too easy to malign people, with no possible comebacks. A friend who rents holiday homes in Greece has told me that he gets people ringing him up (not emailing, that would be evidence) and saying that unless they get a discount, they will write a bad review on Trip Advisor. Enough said.

GoogleExcellent efficient company, we put our flat up for rent with Leaders and they took care off everything always keeping us informed of any problems all the staff are very friendly, if you are looking to either put a property up for rent or looking to rent a property Leaders will give you an excellent service. The same applies if you are looking to sell or buy a property, we have put a property up for sale and as we are not local everything was done online and I could not have asked for a more friendly and efficient service. My final comment would be for all aspects of renting out your property, renting a property or buy and sell a property I would highly recommend Leaders Worthing.

GoogleTerribly rude and extremely unprofessional. When making a query about renting a very expensive property, I inquired about the basics as I had never rented before. I spoke to Dawn in the Sevenoaks branch and I simply asked for how the depository scheme worked and what ombudsman Leaders was under as I had heard horror stories previously about renting and wanted to reassure myself. Needless to say, Dawn lived up to image British letting agents have. She got very defensive about why I was asking even though I had already explained to her but she was so suspicious about me she told me to go onto their website and look there instead of politely telling me herself and then hung up. Well done on your professionalism and kindness Dawn.

GoogleI have been a landlord for over 20 years. I have used Leaders (formerly Darwoods) in St Albans over many years and they have always, been highly professional, efficient and straightforward to deal with. Staff are pleasant and courteous and telephone calls are returned and correspondence dealt with promptly in a quiet and efficient way without difficulty or problem. (My tenants have also been grateful for the quick way in which deposits have been returned!) It is customary to focus solely on the sales effort in lettings but it should be emphasised that the firm’s administration and property maintenance departments have also all been very good and responsive. They have also been proactive in forewarning and providing guidance in respect of any pending statutory matters or regulations which landlords need to be aware of. I deal with agents in various parts of the countryside, and without exception, my own personal experience has been that Leaders’ service is superior to others. I would have no hesitation in recommending this firm to potential landlords.

GoogleLeaders took over management of our flat in SE London after we moved to Canada from a previous management company and I'm very glad they did. Their courteous and professional service has meant we have been able to relax and let them take the strain. They found good tenants quickly and have kept us and the tenants happy with prompt and reasonably-priced repair work when necessary. They are responsive and proactive and make property management a breeze. Highly recommended.

GoogleOn the whole my partner and I found Leaders to be a good agent, they were efficient and friendly for the 3 years we were with them. It's just a shame our landlord was so unreasonable and uncompromising, otherwise we'd still probably be using them now!

GoogleLeaders were very helpful before moving into the house. They were nice and sorted us quickly. When we viewed the house, it had dampness in several rooms and we were assured by one of Leaders representatives that the landlord was aware and this particular issue would be resolved prior to us moving in. We then moved in 3 weeks later and it was obvious that all that was done was superficial amendments to the house and the root of the problem was not solved. i.e. it was just painted over. Our belongings are being damaged and the damp is 'dangerous' on a dampness meter. My bed sheets are saturated every day. We reported this by phone to Leaders 6 times over the next month, every time we were promised a call back and to date (9 weeks after first report), nothing has happened. We have been told that the landlord is 'discussing this with contractors', but after 9 weeks I would have hoped that something that could affect our health would have been sorted, especially as we were told this would be resolved prior to us moving. Admittedly this is down to the landlord, however it is the letting agents job to ensure the job gets done and they are simply not doing that. I am getting frustrated of up of sleeping in a saturated bed every evening and putting on wet clothes each morning. Neither the landlord or agents seem to care.

GoogleI would definitely recommend this company, very professional. I needed a property to let in the Weybridge area as soon as possible and they listened and understood exactly what i was after.
