FacebookHi, we would like to rent a flat for two please. “Sure, just a few questions, are you able to afford it?” Yes. “Great, do you both work?” Yup, full time! “Fantastic, are you a homosexual?” Why yes, I am, and proud! “Oh…. Wrong answer, some of our landlords have strict no homosexuals, sorry, hands are tied, end of story” It plays out like something from a comedy but it’s far from funny. The fact you have made made amazing people feel like they are nothing AND in pride month! IF you have a landlord on your books who is homophobic you really should strike them off and offer to facilitate a move FEE FREE for the disgusting way you have handled this debacle! You CAN make this better or you can keep burying your heads Kisses xx

FacebookYour company is a disgrace. No company should be allowed to discriminate against anyone because of their sexuality. I doubt these reviews and the attention on social media is not going to do much to help your business and maybe will encourage you to educate yourselves. One good thing about our community is we stand up for each other.

Facebookany estate agent with decent values would tell a homophobic landlord they don’t want to let his house. Disgusting in 2021 you would even think it acceptable to question two men about their relationship. Furthermore, simply employing LGBTQ+ staff and claiming that you cannot be homophobic because you do is also not acceptable either

FacebookAbhorrent behaviour from this company. After me and my partner put our details forward for a flat! All relevant information had been taken and passed to the landlord. We then received a call to ask if we were a couple or just friends… once it reached the landlord we are a couple, we were rejected. MJ are adamant it was based on the financial situation, of which they had ALL information already. I am unsure why a separate call was made regarding our sleeping arrangements during the decision process. The complaint I raised had been brushed off as a misunderstanding on my part. It seems their “traditional values” include some pretty dated views too.
Narrow minded company, what you have done is discriminatory and is most definitely illegal should be shut down with views like that in 2021
